Melaka, 15 June 2026 – The Faculty of Management and Business (FPP), UiTM Melaka Branch, Bandaraya Melaka Campus successfully organised the Zero to Corporate Hero programme on 15 June 2026 at Level 12, Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR). The programme, which took place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., was held in collaboration with PTAR UiTM Melaka Branch, Bandaraya Melaka Campus.
SHAH ALAM, 24 Jun 2026 – Fakulti Sains Komputer dan Matematik (FSKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) telah menganjurkan FSKM Postgraduate Research Day 2026 yang menampilkan sesi khas “Scholar’s Toolkit” bagi memperkasakan kemahiran penyelidikan dan penulisan akademik dalam kalangan pelajar pascasiswazah.
Melaka, 15 June 2026 – A knowledge-sharing session entitled “AI Dependency in Modern Workplace: Thriving in the AI Workplace – Smart, Skilled & Self-Aware Gen Z” was organised in collaboration with Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), UiTM Melaka Branch, Bandaraya Campus. The programme was held at Level 12, PTAR, from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. and aimed to raise students’ awareness of the responsible and effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Throughout the programme, participants were introduced to the functions and benefits of AI in enhancing workplace productivity, while also gaining an understanding of the risks associated with overreliance on the technology. Emphasis was placed on the importance of verifying AI-generated information, protecting confidential data, and using AI as a supporting tool rather than a replacement for human judgment.
The programme successfully enhanced participants’ understanding of ethical AI usage through the principles of Privacy, Accountability, and Ethics, helping them become better prepared to face the challenges of the modern workplace and thrive in an increasingly AI-driven environment.

The Rehabilitation Medicine Department, Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA), in collaboration with the Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR), organised a Community Rehabilitation Programme involving 11 rehabilitation patients on 19 June 2026 at the Computer Laboratory and Learning Community Engagement (LCE) area of PPTAR HASA.
The programme was designed as a supportive initiative for the rehabilitation process, personal development, and community reintegration of patients through activities focused on learning, cognitive stimulation, and social interaction within a conducive environment.
Among the activities conducted were Speed Reading, Healthy Mind Games (Chess), and Library Therapy.
For the Speed Reading session, participants received guidance and instruction from Puan Noor Azlin Abdullah, Head of the Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library. The activity was also supported by PPTAR staff, namely Puan Fasihah Abdul Wahab, Puan Nur Ira Wahidah Nasir, Puan Nur Fatini Ahmad Fazli, Cik Nur Athirah Mohd Sokhi, Puan Maizatul Akmal Sidik, and Mr. Zameer Fayyad, a PPTAR industrial training student.
In addition to the Speed Reading activity, participants had the opportunity to enhance their thinking and strategic skills through chess games conducted in the Learning Community Engagement (LCE) area. Participants were also introduced to the reading collections available at PPTAR and spent time reading in the library’s calm and comfortable environment as part of the Library Therapy activity.
Through this programme, participants were able to improve their concentration, cognitive skills, self-confidence, and social interaction while fostering a reading habit as an approach to supporting mental well-being and holistic rehabilitation.
PPTAR HASA extends its sincere appreciation to the Rehabilitation Medicine Department for its collaboration in making this programme a success. The Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR), Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA), in collaboration with the Maternofetal Embryo Research Group (MatE), organised the Parental and Embryo Health Webinar Series: A Harmonious Pregnancy on 18 June 2026 (Thursday). The webinar was conducted online via the HASA UiTM YouTube channel.
The two-hour webinar featured Associate Professor Dr. Yuhaniza Shafinie Kamsani, Deputy Dean (Student Affairs), Faculty of Medicine, UiTM, who delivered a talk entitled “The Role of Women’s Lifestyle in Embryo Health.” The session was moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Mohamad Rodi bin Isa, Associate Professor of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, UiTM.
The presentation highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle among women as a key factor influencing reproductive health and embryo development. The programme was part of an ongoing knowledge-cultivation initiative aimed at raising public awareness of the importance of healthcare before and during pregnancy, while also supporting the dissemination of evidence-based health information to the university community, healthcare professionals, and the general public.

As part of ongoing efforts to promote a culture of knowledge and health awareness within the community, the Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR), in collaboration with Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA), organised the Knowledge Culture, Community Engagement and Health Literacy Programme at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Puncak Alam 3 (SMKPA3) on 16 June 2026.
The programme, which involved 173 participants, received support from the KPT Prihatin Komuniti Sejahtera (KRIS) Programme and was successfully implemented through the collaboration of several HASA departments and units, namely the Community and Ambulatory Services Department, Dietetics Department, Primary Care Department, Nursing Department, Assistant Medical Officer Unit, and Medical Social Work Department. The programme focused on information literacy, character development, and health awareness.
One of the main highlights of the programme was the “Jom Celik Maklumat” (Information Literacy Awareness) session delivered by Puan Noor Azlin Abdullah, Head of the Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR). The session provided students with exposure to the importance of information literacy, methods of identifying information needs, and effective information-searching techniques to help them become knowledgeable and ethical information users.
The programme also featured a counselling session entitled “Understanding Yourself: Healthy Relationships, Boundaries & Sexuality”, presented by Encik Muhammad Azarul Ashraf bin Abdul Jalil, Psychologist from the Counselling Unit, Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA), UiTM. The session focused on character development, emotional well-being, and fostering healthy social relationships among adolescents.
In addition to activities involving students, the programme also offered basic health screening services for teachers, members of the school community, and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) representatives. The screenings included blood pressure checks, Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments, blood glucose tests, uric acid tests, and cholesterol tests, as well as health consultations conducted by medical officers. The programme was further supported by health exhibitions and advisory services provided by the participating departments.
The closing ceremony was officiated by Encik Norhamazi bin Abu Kassim, Senior Assistant for Administration of SMK Puncak Alam 3. The presence and support of the school reflected a shared commitment to strengthening education, well-being, and community development initiatives.

Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR) conducted a Library Briefing in conjunction with the New Staff Induction Programme (PISB) Series 3/2026, which was held on 16 June 2026 at 3:30 p.m. in Auditorium 1.
The briefing was delivered by Puan Noorazlin Abdullah, Head of Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library, HASA, and was attended by 29 participants. The session aimed to introduce the role of the library and provide an overview of the facilities, services, and information resources available to support the learning, teaching, and research needs of the institution’s community.
It is hoped that the information shared during the session will help new staff become familiar with and fully utilise the library’s facilities and services in supporting their work responsibilities and professional development.
Sungai Buloh, 11 June 2026 – Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), UiTM Sungai Buloh Campus successfully organized the Jelajah Ilmu PTAR programme at the Faculty of Dentistry Lobby, Level 1 (in front of Al-Biruni Auditorium) on 11 June 2026. The programme, held from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, aimed to bring library services closer to students and staff while increasing awareness of the resources and facilities available through PTAR.
Throughout the programme, participants were introduced to the PERMATA Library System, book borrowing and return services, digital library resources, and other library facilities that support academic learning and research. Interactive activities, including a crossword puzzle challenge and PTAR volunteer registration, were also conducted to encourage participation and engagement among visitors.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for students and staff to interact directly with PTAR personnel, gain a better understanding of library services, and explore the wide range of information resources available to them. Early participants were also rewarded with special souvenirs as a token of appreciation.
The successful implementation of the programme reflects PTAR’s commitment to enhancing user engagement and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and lifelong learning within the university community.
SUNGAI PETANI, 11 Jun 2026 – The International Archives Day Celebration at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kedah Branch, held from 7 to 11 June 2026, successfully achieved its objective of promoting and enhancing awareness among the campus community regarding the importance of systematic records management, preservation of archival materials, and institutional heritage. Organized by the Sultan Badlishah Library, the event received an overwhelmingly positive response, attracting a total of 896 participants throughout the celebration period.
Carrying the theme “Archives for Justice, Rights, Memory & Futures,” the celebration featured a variety of engaging activities aimed at bringing the campus community closer to the role of archives as sources of reference, historical evidence, and catalysts for knowledge development. Among the highlights were the UiTM Kedah Branch History Online Quiz, a historical exhibition showcasing personal collections contributed by retirees, the UiTM Kedah Branch History Exhibition, the Live@PTAR PSB: Pengkisahan Sejarah Kampus UiTM Cawangan Kedah, and a campus photograph donation campaign to enrich the university’s archival collections.
In addition, the celebration was enlivened with interactive activities involving members of the campus community, including “Guess the Photo,” archival conservation demonstrations, and a retirees’ sharing session entitled “Apa Cerita UiTM Dulu-Dulu?” These activities provided participants with valuable opportunities to learn about the history of the campus and gain a deeper understanding of the efforts undertaken to preserve historical materials for future generations.
The Closing Ceremony of the International Archives Day Celebration at UiTM Kedah Branch was held on 11 June 2026 and was officiated by Associate Professor Dr. Asmadi Mohammed Ghazali, representing the Rector of UiTM Kedah Branch and serving as Chairman of the Adiwangsa Implementation Committee. The ceremony marked the conclusion of the week-long International Archives Day Celebration at UiTM Kedah Branch.
The organizers hope that the celebration not only strengthens awareness of the importance of archives but also serves as a platform to foster a greater sense of pride and appreciation for the history, heritage, and identity of UiTM Kedah Branch.
