UiTM Cares 2026 Mega Blood Donation Campaign
ALOR GAJAH, 16 June 2026 – The UiTM Cares 2026 Mega Blood Donation Campaign was successfully held at the Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR), UiTM Melaka Branch, Alor Gajah Campus, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The programme was jointly organised by the Corporate Communication Unit, Health Unit, and Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR), UiTM Melaka Branch, in collaboration with the National Blood Centre, Ministry of Health Malaysia. The campaign was conducted simultaneously across all UiTM campuses nationwide.
The initiative was organised to support the nation's blood supply while promoting awareness of social responsibility among the university community. PTAR UiTM Melaka Branch, Alor Gajah Campus, played a direct role by providing the venue, support facilities, and operational assistance throughout the programme. This involvement reflects PTAR's active role as a strategic university partner in supporting community service and welfare initiatives.
Throughout the programme, donor registration, health screening, and blood donation procedures were managed by the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Melaka Hospital, with assistance from the UiTM Health Unit and volunteers from the Malaysian Red Crescent, UiTM Melaka Branch. The programme was carried out smoothly and efficiently through the strong collaboration and commitment of all parties involved.
Overall, the UiTM Cares 2026 Mega Blood Donation Campaign successfully achieved its objectives and made a positive impact on the campus community.
