PTAR UiTM OSH COMMITTEE ORGANIZATION CHART
- Holds meetings at least once every three months or as needed based on workplace risks.
- Conducts regular workplace inspections.
- Reports and discusses accidents, unsafe conditions, and occupational hazards.
- Assists in investigating incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses.
- Recommends corrective actions to improve workplace safety.
- Reviews OSH practices and proposes improvements.
- Maintains and updates safety and health records.
- Supports activities that promote a safe and healthy work culture.
- Sub-committees report to the OSH Committee Chairperson.
Roles Of Committee Members
- Chairs the OSH Committee meetings.
- Ensures the effective implementation and performance of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) compliance at UiTM library.
- Plans and implements programmes for continuous improvement in meeting OSH requirements at UiTM library.
- Ensures UiTM library staff receive appropriate OSH-related training and information.
- Appoints OSH Committee members and Safety and Health Officers responsible for managing safety and health matters at UiTM library.
- Ensures that the functions of the Safety and Health Committee comply with the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulations 1996.
