UiTM Student Council 2025/2026 Strengthens Knowledge Culture Through Strategic Library Engagement
SHAH ALAM — The Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) UiTM 2025/2026 paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Librarian of UiTM as part of efforts to strengthen strategic synergy between student leadership and the university library, with a focus on promoting a vibrant knowledge culture on campus.

The MPP delegation was led by Yang Dipertua MPP UiTM, Mohamad Adib Hazim, who outlined the council’s objectives and future direction for closer collaboration with the library. Key discussions included student involvement in information literacy programmes, reading initiatives, intellectual discourse activities, and lifelong learning empowerment projects.
Chief Librarian Ts. Haji Azizi bin Haji Jantan warmly received the delegation, sharing the strategic vision of the UiTM Library as a dynamic knowledge hub. He emphasized the role of students as strategic partners, not merely users, highlighting their potential to drive a culture of learning through active engagement, intellectual leadership, and volunteerism.
Representing the library were Mohd Ismail bin Abidin, Nurul Farihah Sarmin Panut, and Siti Rohayu Mohd Yusof, who supported discussions on the implementation of high-impact collaborative programmes.
The courtesy visit reflects the shared commitment of MPP UiTM and the UiTM Library to cultivating a campus environment rich in discourse, reading, and continuous learning, aligned with the university’s aspiration to produce knowledgeable, visionary, and critical-thinking graduates.
