25 Julai 2026 | 13 Safar 1448H : Program Kesedaran Kelestarian: EcoKids Penjimatan Tenaga dan Penjagaan Alam Sekitar dalam Kalangan Kanak-Kanak Komuniti Dengkil telah dilaksanakan bagi meningkatkan kesedaran kanak-kanak tentang kepentingan penjimatan tenaga melalui aktiviti pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyeronokkan. Program ini merangkumi Sesi Cerita Hijau, penerangan mengenai konsep kelestarian dan amalan penjimatan tenaga serta demonstrasi penghasilan tenaga daripada solar, turbin angin dan air garam. Selain itu, peserta yang terdiri dalam kalangan kanak-kanak juga berpeluang mencuba memasang litar elektrik secara berkumpulan. Program telah berjalan lancar dengan penyertaan seramai 35 orang kanak-kanak daripada komuniti Dengkil yang menunjukkan penglibatan dan minat yang tinggi sepanjang aktiviti dijalankan.

ALOR GAJAH, 22 Julai 2026 - Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) UiTM Cawangan Melaka telah menerima kunjungan delegasi sempena Program Khidmat Komuniti dan Penyelidikan Antarabangsa 2026, yang melibatkan lawatan akademik ke Perpustakaan dan Unit Arkib PTAR UiTM Cawangan Melaka Kampus Alor Gajah.
Lawatan ini dimulakan dengan taklimat yang telah disampaikan oleh Encik Norhazlan bin Nordin, Ketua Perpustakaan PTAR UiTM Cawangan Melaka. Taklimat tersebut memberikan penerangan mengenai fungsi, peranan dan perkhidmatan PTAR sebagai pusat rujukan ilmu universiti.
Selesai taklimat, delegasi yang terdiri daripada 70 orang peserta daripada kalangan pensyarah, penyelidik dan pelajar Akademi Pengajian Islam Kontemporari (ACIS) UiTM Cawangan Melaka bersama Institut Agama Islam Tafaqquh Fiddin (IAITF), Dumai, Indonesia telah dibawa mengelilingi PTAR UiTM Cawangan Melaka bagi melihat sendiri perkhidmatan dan kemudahan yang disediakan.
Seterusnya, delegasi dibawa ke Unit Arkib Cawangan Melaka bagi melihat dengan lebih dekat kemudahan dan perkhidmatan yang terdapat di unit tersebut, termasuk gedung arkib serta ruangan pameran yang memaparkan koleksi dan bahan warisan institusi. Lawatan ini turut memberi peluang kepada para peserta untuk memahami kepentingan pengurusan rekod dan pemeliharaan warisan sebagai sumber rujukan akademik dan penyelidikan.
Lawatan akademik ini menjadi platform yang bermakna dalam memperkukuhkan jaringan kerjasama antarabangsa, menggalakkan perkongsian ilmu serta bertukar pengalaman dalam bidang perpustakaan, arkib dan penyelidikan antara kedua-dua institusi.
PTAR UiTM Cawangan Melaka merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kepada semua delegasi yang hadir. Semoga jalinan kerjasama ini terus diperkukuh dan menjadi pemangkin kepada lebih banyak aktiviti akademik serta penyelidikan pada masa hadapan.

Program anjuran Unit Jaringan Industri, Komuniti dan Alumni (ICAN), Bahagian Penyelidikan dan Jaringan Industri (PJI) dengan kerjasama PTAR UiTM Cawangan Melaka, Kampus Alor Gajah ini melibatkan penyertaan pelajar Sekolah Rendah Arab (SRA) JAIM Al-Faizin. PTAR telah diwakili oleh Cik Hazlin binti Ibrahim Khan, Timbalan Ketua Pustakawan (M) (KUP).
