SHAH ALAM, July 9, 2026 – The Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) proudly welcomed a benchmarking delegation from the Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) Library and Digital Centre today. The visiting delegation consisted of five members, featuring two representatives from the UNISEL Library alongside three representatives from the UNISEL Digital Centre.
This visit served as a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and exploring continuous improvements in library management and the integration of cutting-edge technology in daily operations. The core discussions focused heavily on the Library Management System (LMS), the implementation of RFID technology, access control systems, workstation infrastructure, modern learning space designs, and the enhancement of digital facilities to optimize service delivery to library users.
During the session, a comprehensive briefing on the UiTM Library Department was delivered by Madam Aznur Umiza Abu Kassim, Director of the Library Management Division. Meanwhile, detailed insights into the technical architecture and library systems were presented by Madam Wan Izzatul Fahrah Wan Ishak, Senior Information Technology Officer, and Mr. Mohd Faizal Sawardi Lukman.
It is highly hoped that this engagement will foster a continuous exchange of knowledge, solidify professional relationships between PTAR and UNISEL, and empower the development of more innovative, efficient, and high-impact library services for the academic community.
