JENGKA, 20 May 2026 – Perpustakaan Al-Bukhari, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Pahang successfully organised the Kem Pemimpin Muda Madani 2026 at SK LKTP Felda Jengka 9, bringing together 64 students in an engaging leadership and digital literacy programme designed to nurture future-ready young leaders.
The programme aimed to develop students' leadership qualities, creativity, digital literacy, and teamwork through a series of interactive learning activities. Participants were encouraged to strengthen their communication, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving skills while engaging in fun and educational challenges.
Among the programme's key activities were Smart Sort!, Match The Tech!, Keep It Rolling!, Keyboard Heroes!, Typing Race!, Mind Your Step!, Blindfold Train!, and Guess The Word!. Each activity was carefully designed to enhance logical thinking, digital competency, strategic planning, effective communication, teamwork, and self-confidence.
Digital literacy was further reinforced through activities that introduced participants to basic technology concepts, keyboard proficiency, and typing accuracy, equipping them with essential 21st-century skills while promoting responsible digital engagement.
The programme also supported the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting quality learning experiences, digital literacy, and lifelong learning. In addition, it contributed to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and the local school community in empowering future generations.
