RAUB, 12 May 2026 – The University, What's Next? Unlock Your Future programme was successfully held at SMK Dato' Shahbandar Hussain, providing students with valuable insights into higher education opportunities and future career pathways. Organised by the Library Volunteer Society (MUSE Society), the programme aimed to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed to plan their educational journey after completing the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).

The programme featured interactive sharing sessions by student representatives from several UiTM faculties and student organisations, including Adminus from the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies (FSPPP), Business Society from the Faculty of Business and Management (FPP), and I-TECQS from the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (FSKM). Through these sessions, participants gained first-hand insights into university life, academic programmes, and student experiences at UiTM.

A Mind Mapping: Future Planning After SPM workshop was also conducted to help students identify their interests, strengths, and potential career aspirations. Using visual planning techniques and group discussions, participants explored suitable education pathways and developed clearer personal goals for their future.

The programme successfully enhanced students' motivation, self-confidence, and awareness of higher education opportunities. By encouraging informed decision-making and early career planning, the initiative empowered students to take meaningful steps towards achieving their academic and professional aspirations.

The programme supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting access to educational guidance and lifelong learning opportunities. It also reflects UiTM's commitment to community engagement and youth empowerment through meaningful outreach initiatives.

TEMERLOH, 20 May 2026 – The Program Kebitaraan Madani: Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya (PRS) 2026 was successfully held at the Seminar Room, Kolej Vokasional Temerloh, bringing together 74 participants from Kolej Vokasional Temerloh and Kolej Vokasional Ampangan. The programme aimed to strengthen leadership qualities, communication skills, and peer mentoring capabilities among students.

Perpustakaan Al-Bukhari, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Pahang, Kampus Jengka, was honoured to participate as a strategic collaborator in the programme. Nurfarawahidah Badruesham was invited as a guest speaker, while Dr. Nurul Diyana Sanuddin from the Institute of Continuing Education and Professional Studies (ICAN), UiTM Cawangan Pahang, delivered the second keynote session.

Throughout the programme, participants were exposed to essential leadership and communication competencies, with particular emphasis on the responsibilities and roles of Peer Guidance Counsellors (Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya – PRS) in supporting the well-being and personal development of their fellow students.

The sessions also highlighted the importance of cultivating reading habits and lifelong learning as fundamental elements in developing knowledgeable, confident, and mature peer mentors. Participants were encouraged to embrace continuous learning to enhance their ability to guide and inspire others within their educational communities.

The programme aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by promoting knowledge sharing and strengthening collaboration among educational institutions to nurture competent, resilient, and future-ready youth.

JENGKA, 20 May 2026 – Perpustakaan Al-Bukhari, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Pahang successfully organised the Kem Pemimpin Muda Madani 2026 at SK LKTP Felda Jengka 9, bringing together 64 students in an engaging leadership and digital literacy programme designed to nurture future-ready young leaders.

The programme aimed to develop students' leadership qualities, creativity, digital literacy, and teamwork through a series of interactive learning activities. Participants were encouraged to strengthen their communication, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving skills while engaging in fun and educational challenges.

Among the programme's key activities were Smart Sort!, Match The Tech!, Keep It Rolling!, Keyboard Heroes!, Typing Race!, Mind Your Step!, Blindfold Train!, and Guess The Word!. Each activity was carefully designed to enhance logical thinking, digital competency, strategic planning, effective communication, teamwork, and self-confidence.

Digital literacy was further reinforced through activities that introduced participants to basic technology concepts, keyboard proficiency, and typing accuracy, equipping them with essential 21st-century skills while promoting responsible digital engagement.

The programme also supported the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting quality learning experiences, digital literacy, and lifelong learning. In addition, it contributed to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and the local school community in empowering future generations.
