Maran, 18 April 2026 – The Pahang Biodiversity Adventure 2026 continued its district series in Maran with biodiversity observation activities held at Che Minah Sayang and Perpustakaan Awam Daerah Maran.
The programme involved 44 participants comprising members of the Organization of Biodiversity Club (ORBID), Organization of Biology Progeny (OBEY), and library staff.

The programme then continued at Perpustakaan Awam Daerah Maran with a demonstration and sharing session on the proper methods of recording and uploading biodiversity observations using the iNaturalist platform. The combination of fieldwork and practical guidance enhanced participants' understanding of biodiversity documentation and citizen science practices.
Participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm and commitment throughout the programme, successfully recording 1,500 biodiversity observations during the day's activities. The achievement reflected the active participation and dedication of everyone involved in contributing valuable biodiversity data.
Overall, the programme was successfully carried out through the cooperation of all participants and organisers. The Pahang Biodiversity Adventure 2026 will continue its journey to Raub and Bentong, bringing more opportunities for communities to participate in biodiversity conservation across Pahang.
