PUNCAK ALAM, 10, June 2026– Program Jelajah Ilmu @PTARKABS concluded successfully after a day filled with engaging activities aimed at enhancing awareness and appreciation of the services and resources offered by Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR).
Jengka, 11 June 2026 – Al-Bukhari Library, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pahang Branch, Jengka Campus, officially launched the International Archives Day 2026 celebration, bringing together a series of programmes and exhibitions aimed at raising awareness of the importance of archives, records, and documentary heritage in preserving history and shaping the nation's identity.
A key highlight of the programme was the National Laureate Discourse (Wacana Mutiara Fikir Sasterawan Negara) delivered by YBhg. SN. Dato' Dr. Anwar Ridhwan, National Laureate and Chairman of the Board of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP). The discourse attracted 161 participants and explored the significance of language, culture, and literary heritage in nation-building while emphasising the importance of preserving knowledge and historical records for future generations.
Visitors also had the opportunity to explore the International Archives Day 2026 Special Exhibition, featuring a variety of informative displays, including Four Decades of UiTM Pahang, the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) Exhibition, Book Binding and Conservation Materials, and the Jengka Branch Public Library Exhibition. The exhibition showcased the institution's historical journey and highlighted the importance of preserving documentary heritage and valuable collections.
Held on 11–12 June 2026 at Al-Bukhari Library, UiTM Pahang Branch, Jengka Campus, the celebration reflects the library's commitment to promoting historical awareness, preserving documentary heritage, and fostering lifelong learning. Through initiatives such as this, the library continues to strengthen appreciation for archives as invaluable resources that safeguard knowledge, culture, and civilisation for future generations.
