SHAH ALAM, July 7, 2026 – The 7th Library Leadership Program and the official Closing Ceremony of International Archives Day 2026 took place this morning at the University Archives Division, UiTM Shah Alam.
SHAH ALAM, June 13, 2026 – The Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at UiTM Shah Alam has been officially selected as the host university for the prestigious Korea-ASEAN Digital Academy program. The grand launching ceremony took place today at 9:00 AM at the Annex Hall, UiTM Shah Alam.
Jengka, 30 June 2026 - the Young Leadership Course Program was successfully organized by the Al-Bukhari Library, UiTM Pahang Branch, in collaboration with Sekolah Kebangsaan Jengka 13. The program was attended by 70 students together with 6 accompanying teachers as part of an effort to nurture confident, disciplined, and leadership-oriented students.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in a series of exploratory activities that combined leadership, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and basic ICT skills. Each checkpoint provided students with the opportunity to think critically, plan strategies, and collaborate effectively in completing assigned tasks.
The program not only offered a fun and interactive learning experience but also strengthened the cooperative relationship between the Al-Bukhari Library and Sekolah Kebangsaan Jengka 13. Its organization aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by empowering students through meaningful learning experiences and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by reinforcing collaboration between educational institutions.
UiTM Pahang extends its highest appreciation to Sekolah Kebangsaan Jengka 13 for their cooperation and commitment in ensuring the success of this program. The initiative stands as a testament to the shared vision of cultivating young leaders who are confident, competitive, and capable of contributing positively to society.
Jengka, 25 June 2026 – Perpustakaan Al-Bukhari, UiTM Pahang Jengka Campus, welcomed a group of 34 outstanding students accompanied by 5 teachers from Sekolah Menengah Teknik Kuala Terengganu for the Campus Exploration Visit Program.
The program was organized to provide students with exposure to higher education opportunities at UiTM, insights into student life, and an overview of campus facilities. Participants attended an introductory briefing on UiTM and Perpustakaan Al-Bukhari before joining a guided campus tour by bus. During the tour, students were introduced to key facilities and learned about the history and development of UiTM Pahang Jengka Campus.
This initiative aims to inspire students to pursue academic excellence and consider UiTM as their preferred destination for higher education.
UiTM Pahang extends its appreciation to Sekolah Menengah Teknik Kuala Terengganu for the visit, with hopes that this collaboration will continue to strengthen in the future.
The program served as a vital platform to reinforce systematic record management practices, ensure strict adherence to institutional procedures, and promote best practices for keeping organizational records well-preserved and readily accessible.
The interactive workshop was led by Puan Muniratul Husna binti Mohamad Zaki, Librarian and Certified Speed Reading Instructor at the Al-Bukhari Library, with assistance from Encik Ahmad Fadhil bin Mohamad Yusof, Senior Library Assistant acting as facilitator. Throughout the session, participants were introduced to advanced speed reading techniques and methodologies designed to boost reading efficiency and improve information comprehension skills.
The interview centered on the implementation and evolution of the E-Library Permata Search system. Discussions focused on how this digital platform enhances information access, simplifies reference searches, and strongly supports the teaching, learning, and research needs of the university community. Furthermore, Encik Khirul Ziad shared valuable insights regarding the challenges, benefits, and continuous initiatives undertaken by the library to adapt its services to current digital trends.
Sungai Buloh, 10 June 2026 – Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), UiTM Sungai Buloh Campus successfully conducted the Jelajah Ilmu PTAR programme at the Lobby of the Faculty of Medicine Academic Building, UiTM Sungai Buloh Campus on 10 June 2026. The outreach programme was held from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and attracted participation from students, academic staff, and members of the university community.
Jengka, 12 June 2026 – The second day of the International Archives Day 2026 celebration at Al-Bukhari Library, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pahang Branch, Jengka Campus, featured a variety of educational activities and exhibitions that attracted members of the university community and the public.
Visitors explored four special exhibitions showcasing historical collections, institutional heritage, and archival materials while gaining a deeper appreciation of the importance of preserving documentary heritage. Participants also tested their knowledge through the Terminology Quiz, enjoyed a Book and Archival Materials Conservation Demonstration, and experienced basic bookbinding techniques through a hands-on activity.
Another highlight of the programme was the live session titled "UiTM Pahang History: From Records to Heritage", which provided valuable insights into the historical development of UiTM Pahang through the perspectives of individuals who had contributed to the institution's growth over the years.
The day's programme also featured a Basic Jawi Writing Workshop, a Calligraphy Competition, the Terminology Quiz, Bookbinding and Conservation Demonstration, and the International Archives Day 2026 Special Exhibition. Registered participants and visitors were also eligible to participate in lucky draw sessions held at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The second day of the celebration reflected Al-Bukhari Library's continued commitment to preserving documentary heritage, promoting historical awareness, and encouraging lifelong learning through interactive educational programmes. The event successfully fostered greater appreciation of archives, cultural heritage, and knowledge preservation among the university community and visitors.
