PUNCAK ALAM, 15 August 2026 – The Speed Reading Test was successfully conducted in conjunction with the Launch Ceremony of the UiTM-ECO World Urban Community Living Lab (UCLL) at Eco Grandeur, Puncak Alam.
The programme was jointly supported by Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), UiTM Cawangan Selangor as part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of knowledge and encourage reading among the local community.
- PTAR UiTM conducted a Speed Reading Test at the UiTM-ECO World Urban Community Living Lab launch.
- The activity encouraged reading culture and knowledge engagement among the local community.
- Participants assessed their reading speed through Words Per Minute (WPM) scoring in an interactive and enjoyable setting.
The Speed Reading Test provided participants with an opportunity to assess their reading speed through the Words Per Minute (WPM) score, while gaining greater awareness of their individual reading potential and capabilities.
The activity received an encouraging response from participants and was conducted in an interactive, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Through this initiative, PTAR continues to strengthen its role in promoting lifelong learning, reading culture and community engagement beyond the academic environment.
The programme also reflects PTAR UiTM’s commitment to supporting community-based knowledge initiatives and fostering meaningful engagement between the university and the surrounding community.
