
KOTA KINABALU – The Archives Unit of the Sabah Branch, Kota Kinabalu Campus, successfully hosted a comprehensive Records and Archives Management Consultation Workshop tailored for the Library Department on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

The four-hour event, which ran from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, was held at the Information Skills Laboratory of Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR).
Led by field experts Ms. Nursyahida Khairul Anuar and Mr. Romi Rampun @ Ramlan, the workshop served as a dual-purpose initiative. It primarily aimed to brief the university community on the specialized services offered by the Archives Unit, while raising awareness about standard preservation protocols.
Additionally, the session provided an active platform for participants to discuss current strategies and challenges in records management specifically within PTAR at the UiTM Sabah Branch. This initiative highlights the university's ongoing commitment to systemic organization and safeguarding vital institutional data.
