Shah Alam, 11 February 2026 – The Fourth Quarter 2025 Performance Presentation was successfully held, highlighting the strategic performance achievements of the Library Department for the reporting period.
- The Library Department recorded significant performance improvements in Q4 2025, with 18 indicators exceeding 85% achievement.
- The Universiti Teknologi MARA repository ranked 34th globally and first in Malaysia, strengthening the university’s research visibility.
- These achievements reflect strong institutional commitment to successfully delivering the 2020–2025 Strategic Plan.
The presentation was delivered by Puan Aznur Umiza binti Abu Kassim, Director of the Library Management Division, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Department’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Performance Indicators (PIs) for the year 2025.
Among the key achievements presented was the improved global ranking of the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) institutional repository, which rose to 34th place worldwide and ranked first in Malaysia. This accomplishment reflects the enhanced visibility and global impact of the university’s scholarly publications.
In addition, the KPI for Visibility of UiTM Publication surpassed its annual target, further strengthening the university’s academic reputation within the international research ecosystem. The Department also recorded a notable increase in the usage of digital resources, alongside active participation in information literacy initiatives and knowledge culture programs.
Overall, 18 performance indicators achieved a performance level exceeding 85 percent by the end of 2025. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the Department’s strategic implementation framework and its continued commitment to operational excellence and service quality.
The achievements underscore the collective dedication of the library community in ensuring the successful execution of the 2020–2025 Strategic Plan, aligned with the university’s aspiration to remain a leading higher education institution.
