The Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR), Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA), remains committed to strengthening the competencies of its library staff through participation in the UiTM Library Bibliographic Records Management Workshop, held from 15–16 July 2026 at the Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR), UiTM Shah Alam.
- Enhancing staff competency for quality library services.
- Strengthening bibliographic and cataloguing skills.
- Empowering better library services through continuous learning.
Representing PPTAR HASA were Puan Noor Azlin Abdullah and Puan Nur Ira Wahidah Nasir, who participated in various knowledge-sharing sessions and hands-on training covering bibliographic records management, Resource Description and Access (RDA) cataloguing standards, Call Number assignment, library record management, and continuous improvements in collection management processes.
Participation in this workshop not only enhanced the staff's knowledge and professional skills but also provided a valuable platform for sharing best practices and strengthening the delivery of library services to the Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah and Universiti Teknologi MARA communities.
It is hoped that the knowledge and experience gained from this workshop will be effectively applied to further improve collection management and deliver library services that are more efficient, systematic, and of the highest quality.
