On 11 July 2026, the CT Perfusion Brain for Acute Stroke Protocol programme provided participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training on the acute stroke code workflow, CT Perfusion imaging techniques, post-processing, and image interpretation.
PPTAR HASA: A Space for Learning and Knowledge Sharing
One of the programme highlights was the Image Technique & Post-Processing session, which was conducted at the Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR), Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA), UiTM, alongside practical sessions held in the CT Scan Room.
The use of PPTAR as a learning venue reflects the evolving role of a medical library beyond its traditional function—serving as a dynamic space that connects knowledge, technology, and clinical practice while supporting the continuous professional development of healthcare personnel.
The programme was organised by the Department of Radiology, Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA), UiTM, in collaboration with Canon Medical Systems Malaysia.
