Held at the Ruang Telaah, PTAR UiTM Shah Alam, the programme formed part of the library’s continuous initiative to strengthen the culture of knowledge and promote deeper appreciation of authoritative Islamic sources among the university community.
During the session, Ustaz Da’i Ammar explained that hadith serves as the second primary source in Islamic jurisprudence after the Qur’an, playing a crucial role in clarifying and elaborating Islamic teachings in the daily life of a Muslim.
Participants were also introduced to the renowned work Al-Arba’in Al-Nawawiyyah by Imam Yahya bin Syaraf Al-Nawawi, which compiles essential hadiths related to the foundations of faith, acts of worship, ethics, and daily life.
The study session highlighted the first hadith in the collection, emphasising the importance of intention (niyyah) as the fundamental basis for every action.
It is hoped that programmes such as this will continue to cultivate the tradition of talaqqi and Islamic knowledge learning among the UiTM community while benefiting all participants, including those who followed the session through the live broadcast.
