Shah Alam, 17 April 2026 – The Talaqqi Kerohanian Programme Series 7: Quranic Studies & Fundamentals of Tarannum was successfully held this morning at the Ruang Telaah, Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR).
- The programme focused on Quranic understanding and tarannum fundamentals.
- It included Yasin recitation and prayers for staff performing Hajj.
- The initiative promotes spiritual growth and community bonding.
The session was delivered by Dr. Ahmad Azlan Raihan, Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), who emphasized the importance of internalizing the teachings of the Quran alongside mastering the fundamentals of tarannum to enhance recitation. The programme forms part of PTAR’s ongoing initiative to cultivate a culture of knowledge and strengthen spiritual appreciation among the UiTM community.
Following the talaqqi session, the programme continued with the recitation of Surah Yasin and a special prayer ceremony dedicated to UiTM Library staff who will be performing the Hajj pilgrimage this year. Prayers were offered for their well-being, ease in all matters, and the attainment of a blessed and accepted pilgrimage (Hajj Mabrur).
The prospective pilgrims include Encik Ahamad Zuber Mohamed, Encik Abdul Razak bin Abdul Rahman, Encik Mohd Izwan Bin Salim, Puan Hani Liza Norfin, and Puan Noor Hayati Abu Kassim.
Programmes such as this continue to serve as meaningful platforms to strengthen character development, foster unity, and promote a balanced integration of intellectual and spiritual excellence among the library community.
