JENGKA, 6 May 2026 – Perpustakaan UiTM Cawangan Pahang officially commenced its Strategic Planning Workshop 2026, bringing together staff members to review organisational performance and formulate strategic priorities for the year ahead. The first day of the workshop focused on strengthening performance planning through discussions on the Annual Performance Evaluation Report (LNPT) and the Library Performance Targets (SP) 2026.
The workshop began with a briefing by Encik Mohammad Khir bin Mohd. Seni, Senior Deputy Registrar, who shared insights on preparing a more structured, transparent, and outcome-oriented LNPT in line with the University's strategic direction and organisational goals.
The programme continued with a review of the library's achievements in 2025, presented by the Heads of Units. The session provided participants with an opportunity to reflect on past accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, and establish a strong foundation for future planning.
Participants then engaged in unit-based discussions to develop the Library Performance Targets (SP) 2026, focusing on innovative initiatives, current organisational needs, and strategies to enhance the library's services and community impact.
The first day concluded with presentation sessions, where each unit shared its proposed plans and strategic priorities. The collaborative discussions demonstrated the commitment of staff members to developing practical, measurable, and achievable targets that will contribute to the library's continuous growth and excellence.
The workshop reflects the library's commitment to strengthening strategic management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. It also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by enhancing institutional capacity and promoting quality educational services.
