Shah Alam, 13 April 2026 — A blood donation programme jointly organised by PTAR Kejuruteraan and Pusat Darah Negara received an encouraging turnout at Level 5, Menara 2, Kompleks Kejuruteraan, UiTM Shah Alam.
The programme, held from 9.00 am until 2.00 pm which has attracted a total of 70 individuals who came forward to donate blood. Out of that number, 46 donors were deemed eligible after undergoing the standard health screening process. The participants comprise students and staff of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

The programme also supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, “Good Health & Well-Being,” as donated blood is crucial for patients undergoing surgery, accident victims, and those suffering from chronic illnesses.The initiative reflects a continued effort by PTAR Kejuruteraan in supporting community health and raising awareness on the importance of blood donation. Such programmes are commonly organised by government and private agencies to ensure that blood supply remains sufficient for patients in need.
Organisers expressed their appreciation to all participants who took the time to contribute, highlighting that every donation plays a vital role in saving lives. They also hope to see even greater participation in future programmes as awareness continues to grow within the university community.
