The training session was delivered by Nurfarawahidah Badruesham, Senior Librarian of Perpustakaan Al-Bukhari, UiTM Cawangan Pahang. The programme aimed to enhance digital competencies and support the adoption of AI technologies as part of the ongoing digital transformation in the workplace.
Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of AI and explored how AI-powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM can be utilised to improve productivity, streamline daily tasks, generate ideas, and produce written content more efficiently. The programme also included hands-on activities that enabled participants to apply AI tools in practical workplace scenarios.
The initiative reflects the library's commitment to promoting digital literacy and empowering staff with emerging technologies that enhance work efficiency and innovation. By embracing AI responsibly, participants are better equipped to adapt to the evolving digital landscape and improve service delivery within their respective organisations.
The programme also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting lifelong learning and digital skills development, while contributing to a more innovative and future-ready workforce.
