Jengka, 23 April 2026 – A shared love for reading brought together participants of different generations during the Jom Baca Bersama 10 Minit programme at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Pahang Kampus Jengka.
The programme gathered 70 participants from Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (PAWE) Bandar Tun Abdul Razak Jengka, UiTM students, and library staff, creating a meaningful space for participants of different age groups to connect through reading and shared experiences.
As part of the programme, participants explored the UiTM campus and enjoyed a visit to the pineapple farm, offering a relaxed setting for interaction before coming together for the programme's main activity. At the designated time, everyone paused their activities and spent 10 minutes reading materials of their choice, embracing the simple yet meaningful act of making time for reading.
The programme continued with a sharing session, where participants exchanged experiences and perspectives while strengthening connections between generations. Beyond encouraging reading habits, the programme demonstrated how a simple activity can bring people together and foster a stronger appreciation for knowledge and lifelong learning.
With just 10 minutes dedicated to reading, the programme carried a lasting message, a small moment with the potential to inspire a lifelong reading habit.
