On 2 July 2026, the final session of the Webinar Series: Parental and Embryo Health – Harmonious Pregnancy was successfully held. The webinar was organised by the Maternofetal Embryo Research Group (MatE) in collaboration with the Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR), Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA).
As the concluding session of the series, participants attended a presentation entitled "Cyber-Intimate Partner Violence (C-IPV): A Love Story or a Story of Abuse?", delivered by Prof. Dr. Salmi Razali, Consultant Psychiatrist at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA) UiTM and Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, UiTM.
The session provided valuable insights into the growing issue of cyber violence in intimate relationships in today's digital era. Topics discussed included technology-facilitated controlling behaviour, privacy violations, online harassment, and the psychological impact of cyber abuse on individuals and families. Participants also gained practical knowledge on preventive measures, the importance of healthy communication, and building relationships founded on respect, trust, and safety.
Throughout the Parental and Embryo Health Webinar Series: Harmonious Pregnancy, a wide range of topics was presented by experts from various disciplines to enhance health literacy, strengthen public understanding, and promote the overall well-being of parents and families.
PPTAR HASA extends its sincere appreciation to the Maternofetal Embryo Research Group (MatE) for this meaningful collaboration, to all speakers and moderators for their valuable knowledge sharing, and to every participant for their support and commitment throughout the webinar series.
May the knowledge shared throughout this series inspire lifelong learning and contribute to building a more informed, aware, and healthier society.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to future knowledge-sharing programmes organised by PPTAR HASA.
