The Tun Abdul Razak Medical Library (PPTAR), Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA), organised the PPTAR Records & File Management Briefing with HASA Departments on 19 August 2026 at the PPTAR HASA Computer Laboratory, Level 3.

The briefing involved staff responsible for managing records and files from various departments at HASA, focusing on three key aspects of file management: file creation, file maintenance, and file closure.
The session was delivered by Puan Noor Azlin Abdullah, Head of the HASA Archives Unit, with the assistance of Puan Maizatul Akmal Sidik. The session provided participants with practical guidance and a clearer understanding of the proper procedures and best practices to ensure that file management is carried out in an organised and standardised manner across departments.
This initiative is part of PPTAR's ongoing efforts to strengthen the consistency of records management at HASA, while enhancing staff understanding and capabilities in handling files more systematically, accurately and effectively.
Through proper file management, records can be better controlled, traced and accessed whenever needed, thereby supporting smooth administrative operations and strengthening information governance across departments.
