COMMUNITY INTELLECTUAL PROGRAMME (CIP) – SERIES 4
The Community Intellectual Programme (CIP) is a programme centred on strengthening community information management in an effort to enhance the community’s level of thinking in understanding ideas and information presented, while also producing a knowledgeable community that is skilled in handling information.
- The Community Intellectual Programme (CIP) Series 4 was organized to strengthen community information management and critical thinking skills.
- The programme was a collaboration between Bintangor Public Library, PTAR UiTM Sarawak Branch, and PeTARY UNIMAS through five learning series.
- The initiative aimed to create an informed community capable of managing and sharing reliable information.
The programme is conducted in five series, where Series 1 to 4 are held at the Bintangor Public Library, while the final Series 5 will take place at PTAR UiTM Sarawak Branch. The final session will also include a certificate presentation ceremony and the Community Icon Award. Communities who successfully complete the programme up to the final stage will be awarded the “Community Icon” certificate.
This programme is a collaborative effort between the Bintangor Public Library, PTAR UiTM Sarawak Branch, and PeTARY UNIMAS. It is hoped that the participating community representatives will benefit from the learning experience, gain a better understanding of ideas and information, and act as disseminators of verified information to other members of the local community.
