Biggest Flag Raised At Mount Kinabalu Kelab Hiking & Camping, Pusat Pendidikan Persediaan UiTM Shah Alam 1999 Malaysia's Biggest Flag which measures 93m by 31.5m have been raised at Mountain Kinabalu by University Teknologi MARA Student. The organisers for the event are Kelab Hiking & Camping, Pusat Pendidikan Persediaan, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Seksyen 17, Shah Alam, and Selangor Darul Ehsan. The event took place at Taman Sabah, Ranau Sabah, Universiti Teknologi MARA, and Sabah Campus from 8 November until 14 November 1999. All together 36 PPP students / UiTM, 6 escorts and 24 UiTM student from Sabah campus (Integration Programme only).This programme is being supported by The Ministry of Sports and Health, Kelab PERASA, University Teknologi MARA, Sabah Campus, Synergy Bell Sdn. Bhd., Student Affairs Department, Malaysia Book of Records and Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad (TV3). This programme is being sponsored by Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Telekom. The main objective for this programme is to implant the spirits of Rakan Muda and spirits of “Yakin Boleh”; to climb the highest peak in Malaysia, Gunung Kinabalu, and an integrasion programme with student representor from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Sabah Campus.
Longest ‘Bahulu Lapis’ Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management UiTM Shah Alam 2001 On August 12,2001, in conjunction with “Majlis Mesra Bersama Rakyat Selangor”, Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam and the students from the Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management, UiTM been listed into the record for making the longest ‘bahulu lapis’ with the length of 206 meters and the width of 3 inches. They started to arrange the ‘bahulu lapis’ from 7.30 a.m. and finished at about 9.00 am before it been cut out and sell it to the public. The event was officiated by YAB Datuk Seri Mohamad Khir Toyo, Menteri Besar Selangor.
Longest Jalur Gemilang On Mount Kalapatthar Pusat Sukan   2002 On May 1, 2002, a group of UiTM students, total about 27 of them have successfully climbed and reached the summit of Mount Kalapatthar (5,545 m) in the Himalayas, Nepal. Not only that, they had even raise and fixed the 4 kilometres Jalur Gemilang in the shape of ‘M’, which represent Malaysia, Mahathir, Melayu and MARA on the following day. The team was led by Muhamad Fauzan Haji Hassan.
Largest Jalur Gemilang Doughnut Formation Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management UiTM Terengganu 2002 The Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management of the MARA Universiti Teknologi (UiTM) Terengganu took 56 hours to assemble 75,000 (2 inch x 2 in) doughnuts on Aug 31, 2002 into a Jalur Gemilang which measured18m (W) x 12m (H)
Longest Jalur Gemilang On The Great Wall Of China Persatuan Gabungan Pelajar-Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung (GPMS) UiTM Shah Alam 2003 Despite the fact that they were fasting, 23 students from Persatuan Gabungan Pelajar-Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung (GPMS) Cawangan Khas UiTM Shah Alam braved cold weather of 7 degrees Celsius to spread a 3.2 km-long Jalur Gemilang across the Great Wall of China on Nov 2, 2003. They took 4 hours and 17 minutes to unfurl the flag.
Longest Jalur Gemilang On Water Persatuan Gabungan Pelajar-Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung (GPMS) UiTM Shah Alam 2004 30 students (male and female) from GPMS Caw Khas UiTM Shah Alam successfully spread a 1km Jalur Gemilang at Pantai Tengah Langkawi, Langkawi, Kedah on May 8, 2004. The 1km x 0.3048 metres flag was supported with bubble pack at the bottom to prevent it from drowning. The students also held up states flag by hand at the end of the record. The students left the coastline by 15 kayaks from 10.30am and the final display was checked between 2.30-3.00pm. The cert presentation was attended by Yang Berbahagia Prof Madya Dr Ahmad Redzuan Abd Rahman (Pengarah Kampus UiTM Perlis) and Yang Berusaha Tuan Mansor Ismail (Pengurus Besar Majlis Tindakan Pelancongan Negeri Kedah) etc.

UiTM Shah Alam 2004 Ahmad Reduan Rozali and Muhamad Muqharabbin Mokhtarrudin, both aged 22, students from University Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Selangor scaled Mount Everest and reached the summit (8,850 m) on May 16, 2004 at 11am Malaysian time after a 4-day trek from the base camp. The students were part of the “Everest for the Country Expedition” jointly organized by UiTM and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The pair left for Everest accompanied by Muhamad Fauzan Hassan, their training officer, Associate Professor Zulkifli Abdul Kadir, and medical officer Associate Professor Dr Anuar Suun. They returned home on May 31, 2004.
Largest Jalur Gemilang Colouring Event Persatuan Mesra Masyarakat (Permata), Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar UiTM Shah Alam 2006 A total of 2675 students from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam took part in colouring one km Jalur Gemilang which hold from 3 pm until 8 pm on August 26, 2006 at Padang Kawat, UiTM Shah Alam. The project was organised by Persatuan Mesra Masyarakat (Permata) with cooperation of Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar, UiTM in conjunction with Festival Kemerdekaan (FESKEM) UiTM.
Longest Non-Stop Debate Faculty of Education UiTM Shah Alam 2006 Faculty of Education Universiti Teknologi MARA, (UiTM), Shah Alam has successfully organized the “Longest Non - Stop Debate” held at Dewan Angsana , Faculty of Education, UiTM, Shah Alam from 10.00am on August 2006 to 12.00 noon on August 5, 2006. The debate lasted for 50 hours.
Biggest Jalur Gemilang Made Of Muffins Diploma in Food Service Management Diploma in Culinary Arts UiTM Terengganu 2007 Students in the Part 6 phase of the Diploma in Food Service Management and Diploma in Culinary Arts, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Terengganu, took two and a half hours (2.30pm-5pm) and used 37,000 muffins to make a 17m (L) x 8.5m (W) Jalur Gemilang on Sept 12, 2007 in conjunction with the 50th Merdeka celebrations. Longest Jalur Gemilang Made Of Grains Jawantankuasa Kolej CeMARA & Akasia UiTM Shah Alam 2007 150 students organised by Jawantankuasa Kolej CeMARA & Akasia, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam 73.92 metres displayed at Kolej CeMARA Akasia, Shah Alam on September 8, 2007 took 3 hour from 8 am to 11 am using 510 kg of grains such as red beans, barley beans and dhal beans.
Longest Non-Stop Multilingual Public Speaking Event International Education Centre (INTEC) UiTM Shah Alam 2009 450 students took part in an event, organised by the International Education Centre (INTEC) UniversitI Teknologi MARA (UiTM) at its CeMARA Akasia College in Shah Alam,Selangor, where they showcased their oratorical skills for 52 hours 41 minutes, beginning at 12.55pm on June 21, 2009 and ending at 5.20pm on June 24, 2009. Each participant spoke at least 7 minutes on a variety of topics, such as social issues, cultural diversity, health and environment, values and science and technology. The languages used included Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, Tamil, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Russian and even Persian.
Largest Participation In Orienteering Event Pusat Sukan   2010 Pusat Sukan UiTM Malaysia in Pekan Bandar Diraja, Pahang, on April 3, 2010 saw 1,132 participants vying for honours in two main categories (Male and Female) of the Classic Orienteering format. Each group comprised three members. ‘Orienteering’ is a sports game that requires participants to use the Orienteering Map with a compass to follow the directions given.
Largest Participation In ‘Jawi’ Writing Event Pusat Pemikiran dan Kefahaman Islam UiTM Shah Alam 2011 The “Program Memperkasa Jawi UiTM” at Dewan Agung Tuanku Canselor, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Shah Alam on April 7, 2011 saw a participation of 3,525 students. Each participant was given one hour and 30 minutes to write essays (using a minimum of 200 ‘Jawi’ words) on topics, such as “7 Wasiat Raja-Raja Melayu” and the Federal Constitution.
Longest Non-Stop Poetry Recital Jabatan Sains Pentadbiran & Pengajian Polisi UiTM Kedah 2011 A total 2000 poetry and 1555 participants including UiTM students, lectures and staff, took turns non_x0002_stop reciting for 100 hours beginning at 2.00 pm on April 10, and end at 6.00 pm on April 14, 2011. The recital are collected poems also written by A. Samad Said, Usman Awang and Za’aba. This poetry recited have been succcessfully organized by Jabatan Sains Pentadbiran & Pengajian Polisi, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Kedah in conjuction “Sayembara Puisi UiTM Kedah”
Longest Photo Wall Faculty of Communications and Media Studies UiTM Melaka 2011 The longest photo wall which stretched 304.8 metres in length and 2.45 metres in width was created by the final semester students from the Faculty of Communications and Media Studies of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Melaka. The wall was displayed at the Proclamation of Independence Memorial, Melaka from September 10-11, 2011. The students took about 2 months to plan and execute the entire programme which was titled “Touch 2011”. There was a total of 38,350 photo covering the entire wall. In conjunction with “Touch 2011”, the students were collecting donations for a few charity organizations, Yayasan Al-Bukhary, Majlis Kanser Nasional, OrphanCARE and Aman Malaysia. Present to witness the Touch 2011 opening ceremony was the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Bin Mohd Rustam and his wife, YBhg Datin Seri Datuk Wira Hajah Asmah together with the Rector of UiTM, YBhg Datuk Prof. Madya Dr. Mizan bin Hitam
Longest Non-Stop Malay Debate Institut Pemikiran dan Kepimpinan Melayu (IMPAK) UiTM Shah Alam 2011 This debate jointly organised by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Utusan Melayu (Malaysia) Berhad lasted for 222 hours 44 minute and 12 second. The event at Anjung Budiman, UiTM Shah Alam, Selangor involving 1,332 participants from 666 teams comprising university, college and secondary school students as well individuals. The debate began at 9.00 am on Nov 24 and ended at 3.49 pm on Dec 3, 2011. It was held on conjunction with “Program Pemerkasaan Bangsa” Institut Pemikiran & Kepimpinan Melayu (IMPAK) - UiTM. Each team fielded three representatives. They spoke on various topics including language, integrity, unity, politics, environment and entertainment. Each session (debate) was given one hour.
Most Simultaneous Mountain Ascents Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar Pusat Ko-kurikulum   2011 The 'XPDC 11.11.11, 30 Puncak, 1 UiTM, 1 Malaysia' expedition, organised by Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Pusat Ko-kurikulum Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) saw nearly 1,000 staff and students of UiTM in Shah Alam and the entire campus ascending 30 mountains and reaching all the summits on the same day (Nov 11, 2011). The expedition was held in collaboration with the States' youth councils and also involved various ethnic communities.
First Public University To Receive The Association Of Chartered Certified Accountants (Acca) Platinum Award Corporate Communications Department   2011 Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has become the first public university to receive the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Platinum Award for its professional accountancy tuition programmes. The award comes a year after the varsity bagged the Gold Award. “The short duration that took us to move to Platinum from Gold proves that public universities have what it takes to put themselves on the world map,” UiTM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar said. He received the award from ACCA brand executive director Neil Stevenson at the ceremony witnessed by Deputy Higher Education Minister Saifuddin Abdullah here yesterday (13/07/11). With the award, UiTM is now officially recognised by ACCA as an Approved Learning Partner. Saifuddin said the recognition of UiTM was an achievement at the global level and proved that Malaysia’s manpower especially that in accounting, was of international standard.

Ramlee. Starting from October 10, 2006 until November 8, 2011. This includes Panggilan Pulau, Pendekar Bujang Lapok, Labu dan Labi, Keluarga 69, Musang Berjanggut, Do Re Mi dan Semerah Padi. Largest 1 Malaysia Logo Made Of Recycled Plastic Cup Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) UiTM Pahang 2012 The Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kampus Jengka, Pahang used 370,000 plastic cup to complete a 1 Malaysia logo in four day (Feb 25 till 29) at the university campus on Jan 29, 2012. The logo measured 100m in height and 38m in width. The MPP members using 80 barrels of yelow, red, blue, white and black paint.
Longest Non-Stop Marching Event Pusat Kokurikulum, Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar UiTM   2012 1,200 Komander Kesatria and uniformed units of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) took 20-minute turns to march non-stop for 26 hours, 2 minutes and 49 seconds in UiTM Perlis, Kangar. They began at 7am on May 13, 2012, and ended at 9.02 am on May 14, 2012. The event was in conjunction with “Ulang Tahun Keputeraan ke-69 DYMM Tuanku Raja Muda Perlis”.
Longest Run On A Treadmill By A Group Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation UiTM Sarawak 2012 9 students, comprising 7 males and 2 females from the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak, SaMARAhan Campus, ran in relays on the treadmill for 120 hours. They began at 11am on September 10, 2012 and ended at 11am on September 15, 2012 at the Kuching Waterfront, Sarawak. The attempt was organised in conjunction with the 49th Malaysia Day Celebrations and was witnessed by Pehin Seri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud, Chief Minister of Sarawak.
Most Number Of Film Directed By An Academician Assoc. Prof. Abdul Razak Mohaideen   2012 Assoc. Prof. Abdul Razak Mohaideen, a Dean and also lecturer from the Faculty of Film, Theatre and Animation, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor had directed a total of 34 film since 1997 until now 2012 with his first film Gemerlapan. Among other films he directed is Anak Mami The Movie, Mami Jarum, Duyung, Skrip 7707, 4 Madu and Bujang Terlajak.   2013 3,000 spectators attended on the theatre show “Muzikal Destini Anak Bangsa-Tan Sri Arshad Ayub” at Dewan Tuanku Canselor, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) on January 25, 2013. This theater performance is presented in collaboration with Fakulti Filem, Teater dan Animasi, Fakulti Muzik dan Fakulti Komunikasi dan Pengajian Media, UiTM. The theater tells the life of Tan Sri Arshad Ayub during early childhood and his leadership in developing UiTM. The event was witnessed by DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj.
Biggest ‘Periodic Table’ Banner Faculty of Applied Sciences UiTM Shah Alam 2013 Students from the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor created a banner measuring 81m in length and 36m in width on June 10, 2013, at UiTM Stadium. The event was in conjunction with “Program Keusahawanan Fakulti 2013”. The periodic table is a chart which arranges the chemical elements where they are listed in order of increasing atomic number and electronic configuration, lined up so that elements which exhibit similar properties are arranged in the same row or column as each other.
Largest ‘Meranti Bukit’ Tree Planting Event Faculty of Plantation & Agrotechnology   2013 A total 2,013 of 'Meranti Bukit' tree successfully planted by Student and Staff from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam on October 26, 2013 at their Main Campus. Biggest Jalur Gemilang Raising Event Underwater Persatuan Alumi GPMS UiTM (PAGU) UiTM Shah Alam 2014 30 divers took 1 hour to lower an 11.16m length and 6.25m width Jalur Gemilang and raise it at 10.7m under sea level on August 31, 2014, at Salang Pulau Tioman, Pahang. The event organised by Persatuan Alumni GPMS UiTM (PAGU) is being in conjunction with “Tioman Merdeka Dive 2014” (TMD 2014) with Malaysia's 57th year of Independence.
Biggest Floating Jalur Gemilang On Water Kelab Rekreasi UiTM Malaysia   2014 On August 31, 2014, Kelab Rekreasi UiTM Malaysia with 30 members success to display Biggest Floating Jalur Gemilang on Water at Pulau Perhentian, Terengganu. This event is in conjunction with the Merdeka celebration. The size of the Jalur Gemilang is 60 metres x 30 metres. Biggest Logo Formation Using Dodol - UiTM Melaka 2014 Students from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UiTM) Kampus Bandaraya Melaka, created a UiTM logo measuring 5 in length x 8 in width using 37,400 small containers of dodol that took 2 hours to arrange on June 5, 2014, at Foyer Area, Pejabat Majlis Agama Islam Melaka ( MAIM ). In conjunction with the anniversary of UiTM MELAKA's 30th year and Karnival Keusahawanan dan Kesenian Islam.
Longest Mini 4wd Track Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation UiTM Perlis 2014 In conjunction with “40th Anniversary Sports Carnival” Student from Faculty Sports & Recreation, Universiti Teknologi MARA (Perlis) created a 266.93 m long track for mini 4WD cars at Kompleks Sukan Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra (UiTM, Perlis) on June 14, 2014. The event named “Tamiya Super Speed Grand Challenge” started from 7.30am untill 6.00pm.
Longest Non Stop Outdoor Radio Broadcast Radio Kampus UiTM Terengganu 2015 MyUFM Radio successfully broadcast for 72 hours non-stop at the frequency 95.5 fm from their mini studio at Laman Korporat, Bangunan Integriti UiTM (Terengganu). A total of 3 deejays took turn to host the programs which started at 5pm on May 29, 2015 to 5 pm on June 1, 2015.
Most Number Of University Campus Visited By A Car Convoy In 48 Hours - UiTM Pahang 2015 14 staff from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) (Pahang), Kuantan Campus successfully covered 25 UiTM campus around peninsular Malaysia with 48 hours. Started at 8.45am on May 26 from Kuantan Campus and end 7.36am on May 28, 2015 return back to Kuantan Campus covered with total distance 2,450km. Longest Distance Using Hydrogen Cell Fuel For Urban Concept Car Faculty of Mechanical Engineering UiTM Shah Alam 2015 The boys and girls from Universiti Teknologi MARA have championed their way through the Urban Concept Hydrogen Fuel Cell Category after a long and gruelling seven days in Manila, Philippines at the Shell Eco-MARAthon Asia 2015. The UiTM Eco-Planet team win after achieving the best mileage of 105.8 km/m3, beating student from 17 other countries. A total of 127 teams from 17 countries, including 14 from Malaysia, took part in this competition that was divided into Prototype and Urban Concept vehicle categories which was happened on February 6 to 9, 2015. *Results are measured on who can drive the furthest on the equivalent of 1 kWh of electricity, 1 m3of hydrogen or 1 litre of fuel.
Longest Distance Using Hydrogen Cell Fuel For Prototype Concept Car Faculty of Mechanical Engineering UiTM Shah Alam 2015 Team Eco-Sprint from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam bagged the top award for vehicle creation inspired by MH370 and MH17 with a record mileage of 315 km/m3. The design of their winning entry, SperMotive-3 was dedicated as a tribute to the families, friends and victims of the tragedies. The event happened on the streets of Luneta Park, Manila for the Shell Eco-MARAthon Asia 2015 from February 6 to 9, 2015. *Results are measured on who can drive the furthest on the equivalent of 1 kWh of electricity, 1 m3of hydrogen or 1 litre of fuel.
Largest “Panda” Replica Cake Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management   2015 A 450-kilogram cake in the shape of a sleeping panda was made to celebrate panda couple Xing Xing and Liang Liang's ninth birthday. The project was undertaken by Universiti Teknologi MARA’s (UiTM) Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management on the 3rd of September 2015 and has now been included in the Malaysian Book of Records as the "Largest Panda Replica Cake". Total: 2.3 metres in length, 1.28 metres in width, 0.45 metres in height.

Largest Kayaking Expedition Pusat Sukan   2018 Universiti Teknologi MARA created a record for organizing the Largest Kayaking Expedition across Selat Melaka, Muar, Johor to Pulau Bengkalis, Riau, Indonesia. A total of 210 participants was flagged off from July 21 to July 25, 2018, for 101 km. The expedition aimed to provide a challenge to the UiTM students to engage in extremely high-impact programs that can enhance the image quality of UiTM graduates
Largest Simultaneous Participation Of Students In A Safety Training Faculty of Electrical Engineering UiTM Shah Alam 2018 Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik, UiTM Shah Alam again set another achievement when they sucessfully were awarded by the Malaysia Book of Records for the ‘Largest Simultaneous Participation of Students in a Safety Training’ on November 21, 2018. A total of 1,066 students from 22 different schools participated in the training campaign. The main content of the session was a safety training that consists of introduction to electrical system training, building evacuation drills, and first aid general safety for children. The safety training campaign was co-organized by Malaysian Society of Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH), Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia (BOMBA) and McDonald’s Malaysia. The campaign was officially unveiled by ADUN Kota Anggerik, YB Tuan Mohd Najwan bin Halimi.
Most Number Of 3d ‘Paper Cutting Artwork’ In 1 Hour Mandarin Club UiTM Kedah 2019 On April 24, 2019, in conjunction with the International Festival of Chinese Culture and Language 2019 (i-FOCCAL 2019), Mandarin Club from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kampus Kedah created its own history when they received recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records for a record of ‘Most Number Of 3D ‘Paper Cutting Artwork’ In 1 Hour’ A total of 73 of students from the club and assisted by 20 students of SMK Merbok succeeded in producing 2,835 pieces of three-dimensional 'Chun' paperwork for an hour, beginning at 9:00 am. Chun which is a traditional character of Chinese means spring meaning. The ceremony was witnessed by the Chairman of the Chinese and Siam Affairs Committee, State Human Resources and Environment, YB Simon Ooi Tze Min.
Most Number Of Palm Prints Stamped On A Wall Mural Simultaneously Pusat Kokurikulum UiTM Shah Alam 2019 On April 6, 2019, Kokurikulum Center, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare (JKM), Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development stamped their way in the Malaysia Book of Records for the ‘Most Number of Palm Prints Stamped on a Wall Mural Simultaneously’. A total of 130,585 palm prints were decorated on a wall at 81 different locations all over Malaysia, including old folk’s home and children’s care home.
Largest Participation In An Aerobic Dance Circuit - UiTM Perlis 2019 On October 19, 2019 Universiti Teknologi MARA Perlis carved their name for the ‘Largest Participation in an Aerobic Dance Circuit’ with a total 2012 participants. The event was held in conjunction with “MySport Challenge 2019”, in order to create awareness for healthy lifestyle. Longest Distance Alps Hiking Expedition Kelab Rekreasi UiTM Malaysia (KRESMA)   2019 Kelab Rekreasi UiTM Malaysia (KRESMA) together with Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) UiTM has successfully set a new record in the Malaysia Book of Records for the ‘Longest Distance Alps Hiking Expedition’. The expedition of 30 participants flagged off on January 30 and ended on February 24, 2019, with a total distance of 176.69 km.
Largest Participation In A ‘Plogging’ Event - UiTM Shah Alam 2019 On April 28, 2019, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam in collaboration with the Shah Alam City Council organized a 'Clean And Care Walk 2019' program and created a new record in Malaysia Book Of Record as the ‘Largest Participation In a ‘Plogging’ Event’ with a total of 2, 072 UiTM Shah Alam residential college students. The program, hosted by Seroja College and Meranti College together with 7 residential colleges in UiTM Shah Alam, also participated in this program which was first held with a collection of the garbage while travelling along five kilometres from Seroja College, UiTM to Independence Square Shah Alam. The program was attended by Kota Anggerik State Assemblyman, Najwan Halimi representing the Federal Territories Minister, Mr. Khalid Abd Samad and officiated the closing of UiTM Student Wellness 2019 program.
Largest Simultaneous Participation By Children In A Fire Drill Event Faculty of Electrical Engineering UiTM Shah Alam 2019 On October 23, 2019, a total of 3,272 children from 75 kindergartens all over Selangor participated in the ‘Largest Simultaneous Participation by Children in a Fire Drill Event’. Most Graduation Scrolls Presented In Convocation Ceremonies Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)   2022 On 10th December 2022, in conjunction with UiTM-95 Convocation ceremony, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) managed to gain a spot in Malaysia Book of Records for completing the most graduation scrolls presented in convocation ceremonies. Largest Participation In Selawat Recital - UiTM Melaka 2023 Lendu Berselawat Program 2023 organized by the Non-Resident Student Representative Committee (JPPNR) of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Melaka Branch has been recognized by The Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) as "Largest Participation in Selawat Recital", on 17 June 2023. The hybrid program which was held at Dewan Taming Sari, UiTM Alor Gajah Campus was attended by 11,386 participants from all over the country simultaneously online led by Hadrah Shubhanul Muhibbin's group. This program was graced by the presence of the Malacca State President Tun Mohd Ali Rustam. State Assembly Speaker Datuk Ibrahim Durum and State Religious Affairs Committee Chairman Datuk Rahmat Mariman were also present.
Largest Simultaneous Participation In A ‘Gotong-Royong’ Cleanup Program - UiTM 2023 UiTM has made history when the gotong-royong program simultaneously includes 34 branch campuses across the country with the participation of more than 35,685 people consisting of students, staff and the general public whose initial target of participation is 25,000 people recorded in The Malaysia Book of Records. The Prime Minister's Mutual Cooperation Council organized by the Infrastructure Department of the Infrastructure & Infostructure Development Office (PPII) in collaboration with the Student Affairs Division is themed "We, Campus and Nature". Gotong-Royong Perdana Program in Shah Alam, started by painting the curb from Kolej Perindu to MTDC. First University To Confer One Million Convocation Scrolls - UiTM 2023 Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) further strengthened its position as the best educational institution when it made history in the Malaysia Book of Records with the Conferring of One Million Scrolls at the 97th Convocation Ceremony. This award was certified by the Malaysia Book of Records when the recipient of the millionth scroll, Nur Liyana Athirah Izani from the Faculty of Applied Sciences received the scroll at the 97th UiTM Convocation Ceremony which took place from 5 August to 15 September 2023. The millionth scroll was awarded at the Session 22nd, making the total number of scrolls issued by UiTM until the end of the 97th convocation ceremony is 1,003,241 scrolls. The millionth scroll for the record "First University to Confer One Million Convocation Scrolls" was awarded on 20 August 2023 at the Chancellor's Great Hall, UiTM Shah Alam, Selangor
Most Participants In A Paper Plane Flying Competition - UiTM Melaka 2024 Malacca State Government in collaboration with UiTM Malacca Branch, Alor Gajah Campus was listed in the Malaysia Book of Records for organising a paper plane flying competition with the most participants recorded. The record attempt was held for three days, started on 21 October 2024 until 23 October 2024. The program successfully registered 1,101 participants from primary schools, secondary schools and local universities in Malacca. First National Security Index - UiTM 2024 On July 30, 2024, the University Teknologi MARA UiTM was officially recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records for creating the First National Security Index.   2024 On June 10, 2024, Unit Perkhidmatan OKU (UPO), UiTM entered the Malaysia Book of Records for organizing a total of 250 books digitized in conjunction with Projek Barillethon 2024. The objective was to transfer reading materials from hard copy to soft copy for conversion into Braille reading. This effort aims at expanding the collection of Braille reading materials at UiTM, and demonstrates UiTM's commitment to the empowerment agenda for OKU (Persons with Disabilities) in Malaysia. The event was held at Dewan Agung Tuanku Canselor, UiTM, Shah Alam, Selangor.
Longest Distance University Cycling Convoy - UiTM 2024 To commemorate UiTM's 25th anniversary as a university since its name change from Institut Teknologi MARA (ITM) to Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) on 26 August 1999, UiTM has set a record in the Malaysia Book of Records as the "Longest Distance University Cycling Convoy" with a total distance of 1,929.51 kilometres. Taking place from 20 June to 2 July 2024, the cycling team travelled across all UiTM branches in the Peninsular, Sabah and Sarawak while collecting wishes from each campus to be engraved on the UiTM 25 Year Wishes Monument built in the grounds of the Grand Chancellor's Hall. Each wish placed in the capsule symbolizes the aspirations of UiTM residents for the success of the university for the next 25 years. The presentation of the MBR certificate was carried out at the Silver Jubilee Gala Night held at the Grand Chancellor's Hall (DATC), UiTM Shah Alam, Selangor on 28 August 2024.
