PTAR computer lab offering an access to the Internet, library OPAC and databases subcribed by UiTM via EzAccess to help users find the information they need.

Accessing the PC is by login with their ID and IC and the time period is limited to 2 hours per session. However user may re-login the PC after the time period end.

PTAR computer lab also can be book for a class session. User need to submit the booking form to the library officer.

The Smart Classroom is a facility equipped with the latest technology and software designed to support teaching and learning. It integrates advanced tools such as computers, specialized software, audience response systems, assistive listening devices, networking, and high-quality audio/visual capabilities.

This room is strictly reserved for staff and students for academic purposes, including meetings, discussions, or project presentations. All activities must be conducted under the supervision of a supervisor responsible for the staff or students involved.

USAGE PROCEDURES

• Registration: Users must register at the Information Services Division by filling out a form and surrendering their student or staff ID card.
• Operating Hours: Use of the facility is permitted Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM only.
• Availability: The room is available on a First-Come, First-Served basis. Advanced bookings are not permitted.

At Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), we recognize that a student’s success is often dependent on their environment. While the library offers various communal spaces for collaborative work, we also provide Individual Study Carrels designed specifically for those who require a solitary, distraction-free setting for intensive academic tasks. These carrels are strategically located throughout the library to offer a sanctuary for "Deep Work," research, and exam preparation. The Library provides carrels for postgraduate students, academic staff and researchers who need a privacy and it is located at silent zone 3rd floor. 

The Study Carrels at UiTM Library are designed with the modern researcher in mind, offering several professional advantages:

• Visual Privacy: The high-panel design minimizes peripheral distractions, which is essential for maintaining prolonged cognitive focus.

• Dedicated Infrastructure: Most carrels are equipped with individual power outlets and lighting, ensuring that laptops and research devices remain operational throughout long study sessions.

• Proximity to Resources: Carrels are often situated near the book stacks and reference collections, allowing for seamless transitions between reading and writing.

• Ergonomic Efficiency: Each unit provides ample desk space for a laptop, notebooks, and reference texts, promoting an organized workflow.
