UiTM Library is pleased to provide the Pay-Per-View (PPV) Service, a dedicated facility offered exclusively to the following University members:
- Academic Members (Communities of Research – CoRe)
- Academic Staff (for teaching, learning, and research purposes)
- Administrative Staff (for official University use)

This service is established to strengthen academic and research endeavours by enabling access to individual scholarly articles that are not covered under the Library’s existing subscription packages.
Through the Pay-Per-View service, eligible staff may request UiTM Library to purchase specific articles directly from publishers. This approach ensures continued access to authoritative and high-quality academic resources that are essential for teaching, research, and scholarly work, even when such materials fall beyond the Library’s subscribed databases.

Term and Condition
- The applicant does not have a grant to fund the ongoing research.
- Application for journal articles and chapters in eBooks that are not written by the applicant, meaning they are not original writings.
- The applicant must ensure that the material has been checked and is not in the PDAT subscription or PTAR printed collection, cannot be supplied through the Interlibrary Loan service, and is not in the open access collection.
- The materials provided are for the applicant's use only.
- The supplied materials cannot be distributed to third parties and are subject to the Copyright Act 1987 (Act 332) and the regulations set by the publisher.
- The type of materials requested through the PPV must have the following values for learning, teaching, and research:
- Journal Article.
- Chapter in eBook (book chapter).
- Reference (reference work, i.e. proceeding, thesis, etc.)
- Video
- The application must obtain the approval of the Dean or Head of the Responsibility Centre.
- The processing of the PPV application is within 30 working days.
- Every applicant who receives materials through the PPV PTAR service is subject to the Policies, Regulations, and Acts established and applied by PTAR, UiTM, and the Publisher.
