PUNCAK ALAM, 12 May 2026 – Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR) UiTM Selangor Branch, Puncak Alam Campus through the Customer Service Section has organized an Expert Talk Program entitled "Think Before You Post: Effective Communication Techniques in Social Media" online through the YouTube Live and TikTok Live platforms.

The program which took place from 9.00 am to 10.00 am featured Mr. Mohd Yusof Mustaffar, Special Officer to the UiTM Vice Chancellor (Special Duties II) as a guest speaker. The session was conducted by the moderator, Miss Nurul Faiqah Azahar, Puncak Alam Campus PTAR Volunteer from the Faculty of Accounting, Universiti Teknologi MARA.
In the sharing session, the speaker emphasized the importance of using social media in an ethical, prudent and responsible manner in the community, especially in higher education institutions. Participants were also exposed to effective communication techniques to ensure the delivery of information can be done professionally and have a positive impact.
In addition, this program also gives awareness about the importance of thinking before uploading any content on social media in order to protect the image of individuals and organizations.
The organization of this program is one of PTAR's efforts in strengthening the culture of digital literacy and effective communication among UiTM residents and the general public in line with the current development of technology and social media.
It is hoped that programs like this can be continued in the future to increase participants' awareness and knowledge about better and responsible digital communication ethics.
