Puncak Alam, 2025 – A Wacana Ilmu programme titled “Records Integrity in Organisational Administrative Transparency” was organised to raise awareness and strengthen understanding among the UiTM community regarding the critical role of integrity in records management.

The programme emphasised that effective and ethical records management forms the foundation of an efficient, transparent, and accountable administrative system. Records are not merely official documents; they serve as valuable institutional assets that preserve the history of decisions, policies, and actions undertaken by an organisation.
During the session, participants were reminded that without systematic management practices and strong ethical principles, records may be vulnerable to misuse, loss, or destruction, potentially compromising organisational integrity and public trust.
The programme was conducted with the objective of enhancing awareness of the importance of maintaining integrity in records management while promoting compliance with relevant acts, policies, regulations, and administrative circulars. It also highlighted the role of records in supporting good governance, accountability, and informed decision-making within organisations.
Through knowledge-sharing and discussion, the programme reinforced the importance of cultivating a culture of responsibility and professionalism in managing organisational records, ensuring that information remains accurate, accessible, and trustworthy for future reference.
