PUNCAK ALAM, 19 November 2025 – Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), UiTM Cawangan Selangor, continued its commitment to fostering a culture of intellectual engagement through the organisation of the TELAAH Programme: Book Review Session with the Author of Celik Fikir. The programme was held in conjunction with the Knowledge and Research Carnival UCS 2025: Smart Collaboration Between Industry and Students.
The initiative was jointly organised by PTAR, in collaboration with the Research and Innovation Division (BPI), Student Affairs Division (HEP), and the Industry, Community, Alumni and Entrepreneurship Division (iCARE), UiTM Cawangan Selangor.
The highlight of the programme was a special session featuring Prof. Dr. Amer Shakir Zainol, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Adiwangsa Empowerment), UiTM, who shared insights and reflections on his book, Celik Fikir. The publication encourages readers to cultivate critical thinking, broaden perspectives, and embrace thoughtful approaches in navigating contemporary issues and daily life.

The discussion was moderated by Puan Nordiana Nordin, Senior Lecturer from the Faculty of Information Science, who guided the conversation and facilitated an engaging exchange of ideas.
Held physically at the Sage Room, PTAR Puncak Alam Campus, the programme was also broadcast live via the official YouTube channel of PTAR UiTM Cawangan Selangor, allowing broader participation from the UiTM community and members of the public.
Students who participated through the online platform were eligible to receive e-Merit points, further encouraging active involvement in academic and knowledge-sharing initiatives beyond the classroom.
The organising committee also encouraged viewers to Like, Share, and Subscribe to PTAR UiTM Cawangan Selangor's official YouTube channel to stay informed about upcoming intellectual programmes and educational content.
Through initiatives such as the TELAAH Programme, PTAR continues to strengthen its role as a dynamic knowledge hub that promotes reading culture, critical thinking, lifelong learning, and meaningful scholarly discourse within the university and wider community.
