PTAR UiTM Selangor Hosts Live Forum on “Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life”
Puncak Alam, 30 April 2025 – The Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak, UiTM Selangor, Puncak Alam Campus, continues its commitment to strengthening knowledge culture and promoting well-being among the campus community through a live programme titled “Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life”, held on Wednesday, 30 April 2025, at 10.00 a.m.
- PTAR UiTM Selangor organised a live forum titled “Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life” at UiTM Puncak Alam Campus.
- The session featured Dr. Ernie Rozaini Binti Sulaiman, who shared insights on the Ikigai philosophy focusing on life balance and happiness.
- The programme was moderated by a PTAR intern and streamed live on YouTube, allowing wider participation from the public and campus community.
The programme featured Dr. Ernie Rozaini Binti Sulaiman, Medical Officer at UiTM Puncak Alam Campus, as the invited panelist. She shared insights on the concept of Ikigai, a Japanese philosophy that emphasises the balance between passion, skills, societal needs, and financial reward as the key to a meaningful, long, and happy life.
The session was moderated by Ms Nur Syazrina Mohd Sofian, an industrial training student from PTAR UCS, providing an opportunity for young talents to actively participate in the organisation and delivery of academic programmes.
The forum was broadcast live via the official PTAR UCS YouTube channel, allowing both campus members and the public to access and benefit from the discussion from anywhere.
