Open Access Discovery Portal

Open Access Discovery is one of UiTM Library’s key digital collections, developed to support the University’s long-standing commitment to broad, equitable, and sustainable access to scholarly information. This collection serves as a central discovery platform for high-quality open-access academic materials, enabling users to explore credible research outputs without subscription barriers.

The Open Access Discovery collection is harvested from established and reputable open access sources, including the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NTLTD), Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB), as well as other recognised open access journals and repositories. By drawing content from these trusted platforms, UiTM Library ensures that the materials made available meet accepted academic and publishing standards.

This digital collection provides access to a wide range of scholarly content, such as journal articles, theses, dissertations, and academic books across multiple disciplines. It supports teaching, learning, and research activities by allowing users to discover current and authoritative research outputs while promoting the responsible use of openly available knowledge.

Open Access Discovery reflects UiTM Library’s forward-looking approach to digital scholarship while preserving the traditional values of librarianship—curation, reliability, and ease of access. Through this collection, the Library continues to empower the UiTM academic community by connecting users to global open knowledge resources that enhance research visibility, academic engagement, and lifelong learning.
