SPEED READING PROGRAM
Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) regularly organises the Speed Reading Program aimed at helping students, staff, and researchers enhance their reading skills, improve comprehension, and manage information more effectively in an academic setting. This program reflects PTAR’s commitment to fostering information literacy, lifelong learning, and academic excellence among the UiTM community.
The Speed Reading Program is a structured training session designed to teach participants techniques that improve reading speed without compromising comprehension. Participants learn methods such as:
- Skimming and scanning for key ideas
- Eliminating subvocalization
- Expanding peripheral vision while reading
- Effective note-taking while reading
The program is suitable for anyone who wants to process large volumes of information quickly — essential for research, assignments, and exam preparation.
