About - Perpustakaan UiTM Negeri Sembilan

UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan library history begins in Kampus Melang, which operating on June 1999, simultaneously with the opening of the first UiTM Negeri Sembilan branch campus located in Negeri Sembilan Agricultural Complex, Melang, Kuala Pilah as temporary location and led by Mr. Dzull Zabarrod Ahmad acting as Deputy Chief Librarian, to account with Pre-Diploma Science and Pre-Diploma Business programmes.

On June 2009, the UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan later moved to a permanent campus located in Beting, Kuala Pilah, where Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) Kampus Kuala Pilah was situated on the first and second floor of the academic building – which now holds a total of 12 staffs and 16,513 physical collections, specially for Faculty of Applied Sciences and the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies for the Halal Management programme requirements, with capability to accommodate up to 600 users at a time. The leaders of UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan library or Deputy Chief Librarian include; Mrs. Nurfarawahidah Badruesham (2009-2010), Mr. Ahamad Zuber Mohamed (2010-2016) and Mrs. Wan Norizan Wan Mansor (2017-2021). Currently, Mrs. Jamilah Md Yusoff holds the position as Chief of Branch Library.

Aligned with the rapid development of UiTM, the Seremban campus officially began operation on January 2014. Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak, Kampus Seremban now has its own artificial lake-view and modern architectural building equipped with spacious and complete facilities. PTAR Kampus Seremban has 8,247 physical collections to date, which accommodate Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Policy Studies, Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, and Faculty of Sports and Recreation Science users, along with 8 staffs and capable to seat up to 900 library visitors. The UiTM Kampus Seremban library was led by Mrs. Nor Aishah P. Mosar (2014-2020) and currently, Mr. Aizat Abd Halim, Senior Librarian holds the position as Chief of Campus Library.

On February 2017, the third campus, UiTM Kampus Rembau, was officially opened along with a three-storey Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak building, with the strength of 7 staffs and capability to accommodate 900 visitors at a time, complete with ergonomic reading area and modern facilities. PTAR Kampus Rembau currently has 5,870 physical collections which fulfil the requirements for Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Faculty of Information Science, and Faculty of Business Management. Previously, PTAR Kampus Rembau was led by Mrs. Nur Rabita Rouzan (2017-2024) and currently Mr. Mohd Hafiz Kasirun holds the position as Chief of Campus Library.
