Setia Alam, 23 October – Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) actively promoted its External Membership and Speed Reading program to public servants during the Information Resource Research Sector Open Day held in Setia Alam today.

Visitors to PTAR's booth were introduced to various services, including the speed reading workshop, library membership registration, and a showcase of the extensive facilities and resources available through PTAR. The event aimed to highlight the importance of library services in enhancing research efforts.

YBrs. Dr. Murizal Zainol, Manager of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), was among the distinguished visitors who toured PTAR's booth. His presence underscored NIH’s recognition of libraries as crucial support systems for research activities at the institute.

The NIH community showed an overwhelmingly positive response, with many expressing interest in the services offered by PTAR. This reception highlights the library's pivotal role in advancing research and development within the nation’s healthcare sector.

Among the PTAR team present were librarian representatives Cik Ummi, Puan Salwa, and En Azri, along with two library interns who provided assistance throughout the event. Their efforts contributed to raising awareness about the valuable resources PTAR offers to support both researchers and the public.
