1. Go to https://prime.uitm.edu.my/
2. Enter your “User ID and Password”
3. Click “Sign In”
4. You will be directed to the Home Page.

2. Enter your “User ID and Password”
3. Click on "Publication"
4. You will be directed to the Publication Module Page Dashboard.

Only for UiTM's academicians.

There are four statuses of Publication in PRIMe:
1. Draft - The publication is inserted but not submitted by the researcher to be verified.
2. Pending (Waiting for Verification) - The researcher submitted the publication, which is ready to be verified by PTAR.
3. Returned for Correction - PTAR returns the publication information as it needs to be corrected by the researcher.
4. Verified - The publication registration is verified by PTAR and completed.
5. Not Verified - The publication registration is not verified by PTAR and completed.

1. Go to https://ptarapps.uitm.edu.my/login/
2. Login to Google Account / iStudent Portal
3. Click on "Online Database"
4. Browse Online Database by Subject or Browse by Alphabetical Order [A to Z]
5. Click on the preferred Online Database
6. Then, start your searching

2. Select “General Search”
3. Enter “Article Title”
4. Then, click “Search.”
5. You may find the result of your searching

   You may refer to the latest listing of MyCite 2023:
   1) Go to https://library.uitm.edu.my/
   2) Click, Research
   3) Then, click Scholarly or Legitimate Journal Publication;
   4) Next, click "List of Malaysian Journals Indexed by Mycite"
   5) Click Here For List
   You can check any journal indexed in MyCite by using the Name of the journal or ISSN.

2. Click “Aduan ICT”
3. Choose "New Aduan ICT"
4. Choose "User Type" and fill up the “Personal Information
5. Fill up "Report Information"
6. Then, Category choose "Sistem PRIMe" (Modul Penerbitan)
7. You may submit your complaint.

Currently, the only publication indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, MyCite & ERA.

2. You may also use Mobile App@PTAR - Click “Verification Status” and “Return for Correction.” 
   

PTAR Coordinator returns the publication as it needs to be corrected by the researcher, and some require more evidence. For additional information, you can view the remarks given by PTAR coordinator in PRIMe.

5. Then, click "Reference Number."
6. Edit, click "Update"
7. Click on "Declaration"
8. Tick ✅ I hereby declare that all the information for this application are true.

Click on "Submit"

Two types of publication in PRIMe :
1. Indexed Publication
2. Other Publication

For Indexed Publications, there are four categories listed:
1. Scopus - Indexed Title
2. Web of Science (WOS) - Indexed Title
3. MyCite - Indexed Title / Journal
4. ERA - Indexed Journal

For Other Publications, there are 19 categories listed:
1. Journal
2. Proceeding
3. Research Book
4. Chapter in Research Book
5. Standard
6. Chapter in Book
7. Book
8. Creative Work
9. Policy Paper
10. Cultural Work
11. Case Study / Technical Report
12. Newsletter
13. Newspaper Article
14. Monograph
15. Electronic Media
16. Module / Manual
17. Magazine
18. Exhibition
19. Meeting Abstract

The author's name follows the document sequence regardless of the author's role.

The document will show the author's name as Corresponding Author using * or email information.

1. Authors that stated first in the document OR
2. UiTM's author first mentioned in the document OR
3. UiTM's lecturer if they did the publication with students.
   

Yes, it is compulsory to list all authors involved in that publication; external authors must be declared.

1. First, in PRIMe - Publication Module, ONLY publications that are Indexed and consist of a Quartile in Web of Science will be accepted;
2. Quartile from another Indexing platform will not be accepted;
3. To check, you may go to https://ptarapps.uitm.edu.my/login/
4. Login to Google Account / iStudent Portal
5. Click on "Online Database"
6. Choose a “Journal Citation Report (JCR)”
7. You may search by using the Journal's Name, ISSN, or Categories
8. It is Important! To refer ONLY to Journal Impact Factor (JIF), NOT Journal Citation Indicator (JCI)
   OR;
9. You may do your searching by using Titles in Web of Science
10. Click the journal to show the detailed Journal Impact Information.
    

In the PRIMe - Publication Module, ONLY Journal Citation Report - JIF Quartile WOS will be accepted.

1. To upgrade/make changes to existing publications, you may contact your respective PTAR-PRIMe Coordinator to revert to the draft;
2. You may check who is your PTAR-PRIMe Coordinator in the Verification Menu;
3. Next, you may go to MyPublication - Click "Edit," do the editing part - click "Update"
4. Click on "Declaration"
5. Tick ✅ I hereby declare that all the information for this application is true.
6. Click "Submit" for new PTAR - PRIMe Coordinator verification.
   

1. In the PRIMe - Publication Module, evidence that the researcher should provide is TITLES indexed in Scopus & Web of Science, NOT the Journal;
2. A URL that directly shows the publication titles is compulsory.
   

1. MyCite- Both URL Titles & Journals can be used as evidence to declare that the publication is an Indexed Publication;
2. ERA Listing - URL is not compulsory. 
   

1. Yes, an Attachment List is required and compulsory;
2. The size of the document is not more than 8MB - if you need to resize, use Compress PDF online;
3. You may attach the document and Click Upload;
4. You may edit or delete your attachment by clicking Action.
   

1. The publication version is compulsory. If not, you may use the first page of the document for evidence;
2. You may take a screenshot of the document's first page; please ensure the image is not blurry.

1. PTAR -PRIMe Coordinators will verify all publications within 14 working days after they have been registered.
2. You may refer to Disclaimer as stated in PRIMe in Verification Status.
3. Referring to the Pekeliling Naib Canselor Bil. 3 Tahun 2021: Pelaksanaan Proses Pendaftaran dan Validasi Penerbitan dalam Sistem Penerbitan UiTM (PRIMe): -

• All publications must be registered as soon as they are published.
• PTAR Coordinators will validate any publication within 14 working days after it has been registered in the publication system (PRIMe).
• All publications published between January and November need to be registered in the system by 30th November for the current year.
• Only publications published in December will be allowed to be registered for the current year in December.
  

All publications in the current year must be registered in PRIMe as soon as they are published or indexed.

1. You can do so by searching for the Title or Reference No in the PRIMe-Publication Module;
2. The publication can be updated in Draft mode or Returned for Corrections. If your publication has been verified, please get in touch with our PTAR-PRIMe Coordinator to revert it to Draft;
3. Next, edit -click Update;
4. Click on "Declaration";
5. Tick ✅ I hereby declare that all the information for this application are true.
6. Click on "Submit" again for verification
