Shah Alam, 23 October - Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak recently hosted 85 students from SMK Kota Kemuning as part of a comprehensive program to impart essential information literacy skills. The program was designed to deepen students' understanding of information literacy, empowering them to access, analyze, and utilize information effectively.
The event began with a welcome address by Encik Ahmad Amiri Bin Mohamad, Director of the Library Services Division, who emphasized the importance of mastering information literacy in today's information-driven world. This was followed by an insightful knowledge-sharing session on library management and information literacy led by experienced librarians Puan Norazlin Mohd Yusof, Cik Ummi Halimatunssaadiya Binti Shamsul Yuzli, and Puan Eza Eliana Binti A Wahid.
The program equipped students with valuable skills and underscored the library's role in fostering a more knowledgeable and informed community. It is hoped that students will apply the knowledge gained daily, contributing positively to a society that values knowledge and education.
