Terms and Conditions

  1. Open to all UiTM staff and students.
  2. Users are to upload video content of Book Review, Book Recommendations, and Book Unboxing.
  3. Video duration must be at least 30 seconds and a maximum of 2 minutes.
  4. The account handle must be set to public.
  5. Contest period: 1st February - 1st March 2023.
  6. Upload your video with #BookTok #uitmlibrarytiktokchallenge #uitmmembaca
  7. Participants are allowed to submit as many entries as they like. Each Participant will only win ONCE throughout the Contest Period. The most creative video will be chosen as the winner.
  8. The video is original and has not been previously published on the TikTok Platform or any other platform.
  9. Video is not low quality (such as static images, or slideshows) and not in story format
  10. Participants must only use copyrighted music on TikTok.
  11. Entries that do not adhere to the rules will be automatically disqualified.
  12. The Organiser reserves the right to feature winners’ photos and videos on all UiTM Library websites and social media pages.
  13. The prize winners will be notified through e-mail, verified via telephone, and announced on Organizer's social media pages.
  14. The Organiser reserves the right to end, terminate or postpone the Contest from time to time or even to vary, amend or extend the Contest Period at its own and absolute discretion.
  15. By participating in this contest, participants are responsible for its content, sensitivity, and copyright.
  16. The Organiser reserves all their exclusive right to reject, amend, vary or correct any entries the Organiser deems incorrect, incomplete, suspicious, invalid, or where the Organiser has reasonable ground to believe it is against the law, public policy, or involved fraud.

  • The top ten (10) participants with the most creative entries as determined and selected by the Organiser panel of judges will win exclusive merchandise from TikTok.
  • The Organiser’s decision on the winner's list is final and is at its absolute sole discretion. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained. By participating in this Contest, the participants agree not to challenge and/or object to any decisions made by the Organiser in connection with the Contest.

  1. All Participants to the Contest shall be deemed have given consent to the Organiser to disclose, share or collect their Personal Data to the Organiser’s business partner and associates. The Organiser shall always put it a priority to secure the Personal Date of the Participants in relation to their participation in the Contest. 
  2. The Participants hereby grant to the Organiser the right to use any photos, information and/or any other material received by the Organiser from the Participants during the Contest (including but not limited to the Participants’ names, email addresses, contact numbers, photo and etc.) for advertising, marketing and communication purposes without compensation to the Participant, his or her successors or assigns, or any other entity.
  3. The Organiser reserves all their exclusive right to reject, amend, vary or correct any entries that the Organiser deems incorrect, incomplete, suspicious, invalid or where the Organiser has reasonable ground to believe it is against the law, public policy, or involved fraud.
