UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan Library in Kampus Melang began operating on 1 June 1999, simultaneously with the official opening of the first campus of UiTM Negeri Sembilan branch situated as a temporary location at the East Negeri Sembilan Agricultural Complex, Jalan Melang, Kuala Pilah. At that time, only two study programmes were offered, namely Pre-Diploma Science and Pre-Diploma Business.
On 2 June 2009, the UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan Library then moved to a permanent campus located in Beting, Kuala Pilah, where it was located on Levels 1 & 2, Faculty of Applied Sciences building – complete with facilities such as Meeting Rooms, Discussion Rooms, Computer Laboratories, gallery and University Archives. Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak, Kampus Kuala Pilah, to date, has 16,513 physical collections, including syllabus resources focused on study programmes under the Faculty of Applied Sciences and the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies for the Halal Management programme, and is capable of accommodating up to 600 users at a time.
Along with the rapid development of the establishment of UiTM, the Seremban campus officially operated in January 2024 as PFI status. Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak, Kampus Seremban now has its own building equipped with various facilities including Seminar Rooms, Computer Labs, Discussion Rooms, Meeting Room, disabled facilities and a spacious reading room with a view of the artificial lake that provides tranquility. PTAR Kampus Seremban has 8,247 physical collections to date, including syllabus materials that meet the needs of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Policy Studies, the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, and the Faculty of Sports and Recreation Sciences, and able to accommodate up to 900 library visitors.
In February 2017, the third campus of UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan, UiTM Kampus Rembau, was officially opened with an area of 80 acres and as PFI status. Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak Kampus Rembau, with a three-storey building, can accommodate 900 visitors at a time, complete with Meeting Room, Discussion Room, Audio-Visual Room, SmartClassroom, Computer Labs and facilities for the disabled. PTAR Rembau Campus currently has 5,870 physical collections from various genres including syllabus resources to meet the needs of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Faculty of Information Science, and Faculty of Business Management.
