SELANGOR, 16 October 2025 — The Information and Digital Literacy Workshop for Klang District Teachers was successfully held at Dewan Ibnu Sina, Sekolah Kebangsaan Rantau Panjang, bringing together educators from across the Klang district. The program was officiated by YBrs. Ts. Haji Azizi bin Haji Jantan, Chief Librarian of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
The workshop aimed to strengthen teachers’ digital competence and information literacy skills in line with 21st-century education aspirations. A series of impactful sessions were conducted, including:
- Speed Reading: Sharpening Potential and Enhancing Focus
- Information Literacy: Searching, Evaluating, and Using Information Effectively
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applications: Empowering Innovative Teaching and Learning
Through this initiative, participants were expected to:
✅ Strengthen their mastery of information and digital literacy skills
✅ Apply AI technology creatively in teaching and learning
✅ Become change agents who foster a culture of information- and technology-based learning in schools
This program reflects the strong commitment of Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) UiTM in expanding the role of librarians as catalysts for knowledge and technological excellence within the education community.
