2004
Establishment
Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak Sains & Teknologi (PST), originally known as Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak 4 (PTAR 4) was established on 15th of June 2004. It is located in Tower 1, Podium B Level 3, in the Science and Technology Building, sharing within the Engineering Complex. The main concern of opening another faculty library in UiTM Shah Alam was to cater for a few faculties nearby, the Faculty of Administrative Science & Policy Studies, which was established on the 14th of January 2004, along with the transfer of the Faculty of Medicine from UiTM Jalan Othman to UiTM Shah Alam on the 15th of March 2004. Other faculties that the library caters to are the Faculty of Information Technology & Science Quantitative as well as the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Recreation.

2005
On the 22nd of August 2005, the annex library was opened at level 6 just to accommodate collections from medicine and pharmacy. Later on in 2006, UiTM Shah Alam established the Faculty of Dentistry nearby the complex, providing PTAR 4 with opportunities to expand their collections.
2009
In 2009 and 2010, respectively, the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Medicine were transferred to UiTM Puncak Alam and Hospital Selayang, which saw some of their collections in PTAR 4 transferred to the respective locations.

2012
In 2012, PTAR 4 changed its name to Perpustakaan Sains & Teknologi (PST) along with other faculty libraries in UiTM Shah Alam accordingly in conjunction to focus with its each library specialisation.
2013
On February 2013, a new campus at Sungai Buloh was established as the headquarters of the Faculty of Medicine, and books from Annex in Perpustakaan Sains & Teknologi were fully transferred to the new library at Sungai Buloh Campus, followed by the Faculty of Dentistry later on throughout the year. Even though some of the faculties have been transferred to other locations, the library still holds and is actively growing the collections and providing services for other faculties nearby till date.
