In Conversation: Library Outreach to Art Garden Madi
In February 2022, the Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak UiTM Cawangan Pahang Kampus Raub visited the Art Garden Madi located at Ulu Dong, Raub.
The library outreach was designed for community engagement and cultural inclusiveness to foster understanding and support of the Raub people’s past and present by building meaningful relationships with the community that aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), which are SDG 4 (quality education) and SDG 17 (partnerships for the goals).
Art Garden Madi has been established in Ulu Dong for 10 years and makes progress every year to enhance the studio for the community and visitors. His works have been exhibited extensively at home and abroad.
PTAR is committed to develop a meaningful relationship with Art Garden Madi and planning forward for an art exhibition for Library Open Day 2023. The art exhibition will be a significant effort for continuous support of the cultural and social responsibility initiatives that nurture reading, cater to scientific research on cultural inclusiveness, and promote cultural enlightenment.
“I am to create an atmosphere where everyone is captured by the experience of art, the desire to create,” is Encik Ismadi’s driving effort. The place is visited by international guests who derived to create art, technical, and educational projects. It is a platform for various of guests to explore and delve into art while enjoying the natural environment that still preserves its flora and fauna.
