Forging a Legacy of Knowledge: The KPT Tela'ah Program at UKM
Description
I had the opportunity to attend the KPT Tela'ah Program Coordination Meeting held at the Tun Seri Lanang Library, National University of Malaysia (UKM). This meeting was chaired by YBhg. Dato' Dr. Haji Megat Sany bin Megat Ahmad Supian, Deputy General Secretary (Basic), Ministry of Higher Education.
The Tela’ah Program is an initiative in the form of an online talk show that highlights and dissects the content of books on thought, philosophy, public policy and knowledge development. It was inspired by the Honorable Minister of Higher Education as an effort to nourish the national science culture.
Tela'ah is not just a platform for intellectual discussion, it is even a field that brings together scientists, thinkers, policy makers and the general public in a critical dialogue that fosters. This initiative reflects the commitment of KPT in uplifting the culture of knowledge as the basis for the formation of an intelligent, ethical and progressive madani society.
As an academic library, the Tun Abdul Razak Library welcomes cooperation and involvement in this effort. It aligns with the library's mission to support the advancement of knowledge, ignite thought discourse and provide access to valuable intellectual resources.
May Tela'ah be a tipping point for the revival of a more comprehensive science culture in the country.
