PETALING JAYA, 21 May 2026 — In conjunction with the Evolution of 7 Decades Celebration (1956–2026): Dewan Latehan RIDA to UiTM, the University Archives Division organised a special historical storytelling session with eight Dewan Latehan RIDA alumni in Petaling Jaya.

The programme aimed to preserve and share the early history of the institution while celebrating UiTM’s journey in shaping the nation’s future over the past seven decades.
One of the highlights of the event was the reunion between the alumni and some of the earliest collections preserved by the UiTM Archives. The historical records and valuable archival materials served as important reminders of the institution’s rich heritage and development through the years.
The session also provided an opportunity for alumni to share memories, experiences, and reflections on the early days of Dewan Latehan RIDA, strengthening appreciation for UiTM’s educational legacy and historical contributions to the country.
