Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR) welcomed an international delegation from Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE), Uzbekistan, comprising 18 students and 2 academic staff members.
The visit was part of the Global Academic Mobility for Sustainability: Connecting Minds, Creating Futures programme, coordinated by the Institute of Business Excellence (IBE), UiTM, and was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Wan Edura Wan Rashid, Director of IBE.
- PTAR hosted an academic delegation from Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE), Uzbekistan.
- The visit included a briefing on PTAR’s services and facilities.
- The engagement fostered potential future collaboration between UiTM and TSUE.
During the session, participants were given a brief overview of the history, roles, and facilities of PTAR. The visit became more engaging with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which the delegation demonstrated strong interest in PTAR’s services, including their intention to register as external members of the UiTM library.
It is hoped that this academic visit will pave the way for greater collaborative opportunities between UiTM and TSUE in the future.
