Sungai Petani, 16 July 2026 – Sultan Badlishah Library (PSB), UiTM Kedah Branch, successfully conducted a Library Services Engagement Session with the Faculty of Accountancy to strengthen collaboration and enhance awareness of the library's academic support services.

The two-hour session, held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the IT Corner, Sultan Badlishah Library, was attended by 22 academic staff, including the Head of the Centre of Studies, Associate Professor Dr. Intan Marzita Saidon. The session was led by Puan Azizah Khasim, Deputy Chief Librarian, Puan Wan Rohani Wan Chin, Senior Librarian, Encik Mohd Amiruddin Mohd Nasir, Head of the Digital Library Unit, with a briefing delivered by Encik Mat Asri Baharom from the University Reference Resources Unit (USRU).
Participants were introduced to a wide range of library services, including access to university resources through the PERMATA system, MyReading collection enhancement, PERMATA Search, research consultation services, and information literacy class bookings. USRU also shared updates on faculty printed material recommendations, the Reading List Holding Portal, and the new intellectual property submission form.
The engagement session successfully strengthened collaboration between the library and the Faculty of Accountancy while promoting greater utilisation of library services in support of teaching, learning, and research excellence.
