SHAH ALAM, July 9, 2026 – The User Acceptance Test (UAT) and specialized training sessions for the new Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) RFID equipment at UiTM Shah Alam have been successfully conducted from July 6 to July 8, 2026.
- UiTM Shah Alam successfully completed a three-day User Acceptance Test (UAT) and training for its new UHF RFID library equipment.
- The testing phase involved five key branches, including the Main, Law, Engineering, Science & Technology, and Built Environment libraries.
- The initiative featured system tests and workflow simulations to prepare for a nationwide rollout of UHF RFID technology across the UiTM Library network.
This crucial implementation phase involved active participation from five key library branches within the campus:
- PTAR 1 (Main Library)
- Law Library (PUU)
- Engineering Library (PKEJ)
- Science & Technology Library (PST)
- Built Environment Library (PAB)
These testing and training sessions act as a critical preparatory step before the advanced UHF RFID technology is rolled out across the entire Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Library network. Throughout the three-day program, participants underwent rigorous system functionality tests, practical workflow simulations, and hands-on equipment handling training.
This comprehensive preparation ensures that the transition to the new RFID system will proceed smoothly at every location, fully meeting the dynamic operational needs of modern academic libraries and enhancing the overall user experience.
