SHAH ALAM, July 22, 2026 – The Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR) extends its deepest appreciation to Mr. Mohd Suffian Abdul Manan for his generous donation of two historical Jawi manuscripts. These invaluable additions will significantly enrich PTAR’s esteemed Jawi Special Collection.
The newly received collections include:
- Pondok dan Madrasah di Patani (2001)
- Profil Dato’ Seri Doktor Mahathir Mohamad (1982)
A major highlight of this donation is the Profil Dato’ Seri Doktor Mahathir Mohamad manuscript. Published in 1982, this document was released just seven months after his historic appointment as the Prime Minister of Malaysia in 1981. This manuscript serves as a rare, early biographical source written entirely in Jawi script. It holds immense historical value and is expected to become a crucial reference point for researchers, historians, and enthusiasts of Jawi heritage.
