PUNCAK ALAM, 4–5 November 2025 – The Blood Donation Programme in conjunction with UCS Health Carnival 2025 was successfully held at Level 2, Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), UiTM Cawangan Selangor, Puncak Alam Campus, over two days.

The programme was jointly organised by the National Blood Centre (Pusat Darah Negara), UiTM Health Unit, Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), and Kolej Rafflesia, with the primary objective of raising awareness among the campus community on the importance of blood donation as a vital social responsibility that helps save lives.

Throughout the two-day event, the programme received encouraging participation from students, staff, and the university community. Health personnel were also on-site to provide briefings on the importance of blood donation and to guide donors through the donation process.

According to the organisers, initiatives such as this not only help replenish blood supplies at the National Blood Centre, but also foster a strong sense of compassion, volunteerism, and civic responsibility among UiTM members.

With the theme “A Drop of Blood, A Million Hopes”, the programme is expected to continue as an ongoing initiative to benefit society and nurture humanitarian values within the university community.
