UCS Knowledge & Research Carnival 2025 Smart Collaboration of Industry and Students

The Knowledge and Research Carnival UCS 2025 held at the Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), UiTM Cawangan Selangor, Puncak Alam Campus on 18–19 November 2025 served as a dynamic platform that brought together academia, industry, and the community in the pursuit of knowledge, innovation, and professional development.

Organised by PTAR UiTM Selangor in collaboration with ICARE (Industry, Community, Alumni & Entrepreneurship Division), the Research & Innovation Division (BPI), and the Student Affairs Division (HEP), the two-day carnival aimed to strengthen the culture of knowledge sharing while enhancing students’ exposure to real-world academic and industry practices.

A total of 51 exhibition booths were featured throughout the event, showcasing participation from academic institutions, industry partners, student organisations, and career development initiatives. The carnival created a vibrant environment where visitors could explore opportunities in education, research, and employment pathways.

The programme was packed with impactful activities, including the Systematic Literature Review Workshop, Co-Creates 2025 Mini Symposium, Hot Chocolate: Research Talk, Speed Reading Challenge, and User Training by Emerald Publishing. These sessions provided participants with valuable insights into research methodologies, academic writing, and knowledge dissemination.

In addition, initiatives such as the Student Leadership Forum, Financial Literacy Showcase, and various industry sharing sessions helped bridge the gap between academic learning and professional expectations. Students also benefited from interactive engagement sessions and were given opportunities to earn e-merit points, further encouraging active participation.

Beyond academic enrichment, the carnival also served as a networking hub, enabling students, lecturers, and industry representatives to build meaningful connections. This interaction is crucial in preparing students for future careers and enhancing their employability in a competitive global environment.

The Knowledge and Research Carnival UCS 2025 reflects UiTM’s continuous commitment to fostering a holistic education ecosystem that integrates knowledge, innovation, and industry collaboration. It stands as a testament to the university’s mission of producing graduates who are not only knowledgeable but also industry-ready and innovative in their thinking.

In conclusion, the event successfully reinforced PTAR’s role as a centre of knowledge excellence while strengthening UiTM’s position as a leading institution in academic and research development.
